There have been rumblings (true or false) regarding a Second Chance season, which seem to be getting stronger. I think it will happen in season 22. Here is the proposed cast (8 males and 8 females who provide a good mix of personalities): Males: Mike S (Australia) Silas (Africa) Robb (Thailand) Bob-Dawg (Panama) Cao-Boi (Cook Islands) Ace (Gabon) Ben (Samoa) Russell S (Samoa) Females: Gina (Marquesas) Dolly (Vanuatu) Angie (Palau) Misty (Panama) Michelle (Fiji) Tracy (Micronesia) Sydney (Tocantins) Betsy (Samoa) Reserve: Mikey B (if Mike S or Russell S don't want to do it again)

Seasons with returning players always end up satisfying to me at least. And they certainly have enough good candidates. I suspect most of the people who are against it secretly wish they were on instead (sorry, it's not gonna happen). I just hope they would cast people based on entertainment value, not "fan faves" or "Jeff's friends". It hasn't been seriously considered before now outside of fantasy. Season 22 is when it will happen and it will be the right time to do it.

If you have some legit info please tell me that Sydney is actually being considered and may re-appear on my television screen one day. Actually, tell me that even if you don't have legit info.

Hey I know people think it's impossible but I'd like to see the first few pages of the Heroes Vs Villains thread that Matty P started becuase I"m sure many people would have said that "survivor would never do heroes vs villains, etc" He had a good topic in the past so instead of having like 5 other 2nd chance threads... Just make this the official one and lock the others!

Posts: 7702 12/04/09 08:27 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I will repeat what I said in the other thread So if this season does happen, do we want 16, 18 or 20. My guess there will be 20. Amy has a huge advantage over Betsy, but Betsy is fresh in people heads right now. So you never know. But Amy for sure would be better tv then Betsy would ever be to be honest. To break this cast list down we have to tell ourselves that first off there is gonna be very few pre all star people, there no longer fresh in people's mind. Look at the All Stars. They never have all that many early seasons boots. Mike Skupin would be on it if he said yes. People will always remember him as the fire victim. Gina would be on it. Most people may have forgot about her but she would be a great choice. There really is not that many other pre All stars I could picture on it. So many people mention Silas but I know he will not get on. You never know but I doubt it. Joel would almost be a better choice cause at least he is from the original season. Robb from Thailand would be good but I am afraid he won't be good tv anymore. I think his Thailand immaturity was a one hit wonder to be honest. Brook and Dolly would be the best choices from Vanutu, Brook was a huge fan and would have big game if given another chance. Dolly was a sweet girl and a hard worker. Plus she could have some game and attitude. Mia would work for drama. Jeff from Palau? Maybe. But Angie and James would be the best Ulong members to get. One is one of the best pre merge boots ever and the other at least brough the laughs. Wanda and Jonathon would be possibles as well. Amy from Guatemala would be great. Brian if we needed a player could be good. I am not gonna go through them all but others would be Bobby, Caoboi, Misty, Paloma maybe But we have to have Ben back from Samoa, that is a must. I just hope this happens.

S2: Mike Skupin, or Jeff Varner, if Jeff Varner hasn't burned every bridge already with Ambergate. S3: Bring back Jessie Camacho! But make sure they're near a potable body of water this time! S4: This season had a pretty decent pre-merge cast. Gabe, while not about playing the game, still seemed to understand the social aspect very well, and was definitely good at camp life and challenges. I guess Gina's a bit of a default. Also, Hunter seemed like one of the more memorable pre-jury's. S5: Pastor John. The guy was booted out because he was too much of a threat. Bring him back! If Stephanie can handle the outdoors this time, she'd be awesome too. S6: I don't know... I think this had the bleh-est pre-merge cast. Don't mind if the snubbed this season. S7: The same. I think everyone here already had their chance with the outcast twist. Trish might be a good player in a Tracy / Debbie sort of way though. S9: They should really stock up with the Vanuatu contestants. I'm a big fan of the "Fat Five", but I think Brady and John P's early boots definitely put the season a peg or two down. Also, Dolly was amazing eye candy, and I won't watch it if they don't bring back Grown-Ass Royry! S10: Wanda, easily. Maybe James for entertainment value. S11: Amy >>> Betsy. Brandon returning would be awesome as well. S12: There's a lot of contestants I'd like to see back, but Bob Dawg is pretty much essential for a second chance season. Also, Skeletor, but that's my own bias coming in. S13: Sekou, Cao Boi, clone of Sekou S14: Michelle. S15: I really don't remember much from this season. S16: Tracy, hands down. S17: They should stock up on Gaboners too. Nicole, and Dan. Ace would be essential. S18: Candace, and there seems to be a consensus with Sydney, so I'll go along with that. S19: MARISA, Russell Swan

Posts: 641 12/04/09 11:00 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Good post Shred. I think it should be kept to 16 players if season 22 is a Second Chance edition. As not all of these players are household names, it would be good to give them all some airtime. In regards to the males: - Mike Skupin is a lock if he wants to. Not sure that he would though but it'd be great to see him back - Ace would probably also be a lock, and rightly so - From the earlier seasons (apart from Mike S) Silas and Robb Z are probably the only two others who would be cast, and they deserve to be - Ben from Samoa would be another great villain, he could feed off Ace much like he fed of Russell H in Samoa - Bob-Dawg and Cao-Boi should be included for the comedy factor, and I think both would be asked - Russell S would probably be asked but I'm not sure if he'd be able to do it again. Mikey B from Micronesia would be a good replacement I think In regards to the females: - Considering Jeff named Gina as his favourite pre-merge player, I think she'd get a shot too - Dolly, Misty and Michelle Yi are all attractive, young players who are good at the game but were a bit unlucky in their seasons. I think they would all be considered. - Angie is an interesting person, and is very recognisable, so would have a shot at getting on - Jeff acknowledged that Tracy was very underrated in Micronesia, which could bode well for her chances - As Sydney is "the hottest Survivor ever", I think the audience would love to see her back, as well as the crew. For this reason, she would be a great choice - I think Betsy would be cast ahead of Amy. Betsy is much more recent, seemed to be a good player who was a bit unlucky, and would be remembered well by the audience
