Remove this ad The Top 30 Villains of Survivor Villainy is, and always has been, one of the most important parts of Survivor. There always needs to be the Norman to the Elisabeth; the Norman to the Norman. Without villains, Survivor would be a show about how great everyone is (and if that’s your thing, go watch the last few episodes of Survivor Australia and gtfo out of this thread). Villains bring what every TV show needs: the drama, the laughs, and the inevitable joy at their boot (for the unwashed masses, at least). This is the thread where those villains will be celebrated by those enlightened enough to understand that they are real people who are just funny and better than the rest! They can’t help that they are superior and know it. The top 30 villains in the Survivor franchise are going to be ranked. I will clarify one thing, though: I do not like feeling uncomfortable watching a villain. Those people suck (ask Katie). You know who I’m talking about…The Norman H’s of the world who are unpleasant to watch, and make you uncomfortable. This is going to be all about the laughs, the bitchfaces, and the self-righteousness. These people are REAL and brought the LAUGHS episode after episode, intentionally or unintentially. Some may be delusional, some may be vile, but they are all entertaining. All of these characters received an UTRN, OTTN, or CPN as their final Edgic score - or were robbed of such a score, and should have received it so I helpfully amended the jackasses over at Edgic! Posts: 3 (12/04/09 10:39 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	- 30 - THE DENVER DIVA GHANDIA JOHNSON The lowest-placing villain to make this list, Ghandia was a definite one of a kind. First of all, the woman's name is Ghandia. Second of all, if you were walking down the street and saw Ghandia (or the back of her head), you would without a doubt do a double-take. I will also take this opportunity to point out that if any cast member of Survivor bears a resemblance to Medusa, it is certainly the Denver Diva. As strange as her appearance is, however, it is nothing in comparison with her complete and utter lack of self-awareness and excessive insanity. The woman was certifiable. The Denver Diva could go from sobbing quietly to shrieking and karate chopping a large log in the course of an hour. She was never one to shy away from stepping up during challenges (and losing them horribly). As one John Raymond put it, "Ghandia's not really good at physical challenges. Then again, she's not really good at mental challenges either." Ghandia had the last laugh (or at least the first), when John was voted out immediately following this statement. Ghandiownage? Perhaps not. Karma? Almost certainly. Ghandia may have left by episode four, but her antics are remembered to this day, and she was one of the bright spots of the awful season we call Thailand. She brought more entertainment in the four episodes she was in then the rest of the geriatrics, trannies, and borewhores combined (with two key exceptions!). If only Ghandia had stayed a little longer, she might have been able to crack the top 20. Unfortunately, she must be satisfied by being the first villain ranked. But now we turn to: The Story of Ghandia, the Denver Diva Ghandia is one of the first Survivor: Thailand castaways to speak to America in a confessional as the producers recognized her star quality, and it was about why an all-female tribe would win: "We're better at, umm…multi-tasking." When the school-yard pick begun, Ghandia got annoyed when Jan didn't pick her the first time. When she finally is chosen, she nods her head to confirm that it was a good choice, and nearly bowls Erin over en route. She should have known there may have been problems, however, when she saw Ted looking at her in this lecherous manner: Nefarious intentions for the Denver Diva. At Chuay Gahn, she swims to the water source with the rest of her tribe, and when John and Helen don't row out to drag Ghandia to the beach, she mumbles "retards", nearly filling her mouth with salt water in the process. (Survivor trivia: No, Stephenie was not the first!) Ghandia lost the lead in the puzzle challenge in the first Immunity and sobbed her way back to camp. Then informed us that "I'm a legal secretary. I work with facts." To this day, it's not clear exactly what she was referring to. And that was Ghandia's introduction to America. She quieted down until Episode Three when she EXPLODED back on to the scene. How could something so good go so wrong so quickly? In the opening, Ghandia informs us that Ted is "good to hug" and that he "reminds her of her husband". Then, when controversy explodes on to the screen in the form of Ghandia expressing that she felt Ted grinded her the night before, she declared, "You can't just DO Ghandia like that." She's kind of like Bob Dole. Bob Dole don't get done like that, either. "Bob Dole." She momentarily forgives Ted and informs him he's a good person…until…… Helen tells her that Ted is denying it happened, to which Ghandia replies, "I want to punch his ass in the eye." Anatomy lessons needed. Occasionally surly student. What is important is that Ghandia proceeded to have a temper tantrum worthy of Clay's two-year-old, which culminated in her karate chopping a large log and throwing rocks into the ocean. The next episode, she described Chuay Gahn as a body, with her starring as the "bit-off arm that ain't there anymore." She then called Ted Fat Albert. Unfortunately, Ghandia's histrionics soon came to an end, when she was voted out (Bye Bye, Denver Diva!). The Low Down on Ghandia For a survivor villain to last, they need to bring something to the table to allow them to survive and to entertain us. Here's Ghandia's questionnaire. CAN THE VILLAIN STAY ALIVE? Was the first to attempt a gender alliance. She forgot that one of her "girls" was actually a marine, and as such, had more testosterone flowing through her body than Clay did. This ensured her elimination at the fourth vote. But she beat John Raymond and Tanya! Take that, Christianity. CAN THE VILLAIN SURVIVE? Ghandia lost a puzzle challenge to the borderline handicapped Jed, suggested she show her breasts to the blindfolded Sook Jai team, and barked at odd times. She boiled water quite a bit. I would call her "somewhat helpful". IS THE VILLAIN QUOTABLE? Golden. "I want to punch his ass in the eye". Need I say more? IS THEIR EDGIC ADMIRABLE? OTTN - OTTN - MOR - OTTN. That's an edgic we can all aspire to. For all that and more, the Denver Diva begins our list at number 30.

That's an edgic we can all aspire to. There's a more accurate Thailand chart which has her as OTTN4 MOR4 OTTN5 OTTN5. Which means she could potentially have been OTTN in every episode This should be a good list to follow.

She was an upbeat and friendly woman who rarely had a bad word to say about anybody. And yet, in 2002, Sarah Jones emerged as a foul seductress and villainess who led the Maraamu tribe astray. All the people on her tribe seemed to despise her on a deeply personal level (Rob Mariano, hereonin referred to as "Knucklehead #1" excluded). Sarah, however, remained oblivious to the negativity, claiming she was out there for the adventure and to meet new people. Thankfully, Gina, Patricia, Sean (hereonin known as Knucklehead #2), Vecepia and Hunter saw through this feeble facade to view Sarah Jones for what she truly was: a woman who was willing to use her bodily wiles to hoodwink the susceptible men (read: Knucklehead #1) into following her evil ways. Nevermind that Sarah displayed admittedly few strategic instincts. She was an extreme danger to the tribe of Maraamu, and would beyond a shadow of a doubt lead Knucklehead #1 astray. Sarah was a moderately attractive woman who seemed to genuinely like her tribe. At no point during the course of her stay were there negative confessionals from her to air, so the producers relied on the heavy secondary player viewpoint to highlight Sarah's assets (or lack thereof). For being the first Survivor, but certainly not the last, to have editing completely twist their presence on the show, Sarah Jones takes the 29th spot on the list of our top favourite villains! The Story of Sarah Jones, Temptress in Training Sarah Jones, much like her successor-in-being-fourth-booted Ghandia Johnson, was an immediate star. Her arrival on the Maraamu beach was documented with much delight. You see, Sarah, exhausted from the excitement of being marooned and the heat of the sun, decided that Maraamu needed a captain, and she would be the ideal person to provide rowing (and swimming) instructions. It just so happened that the captain's chair was in the center of the raft, far away from any paddles. An unfortunate coincidence. Sarah arrives in splendour. The man of Christian love, forgiveness, and kindness cannot resist the opportunity to comment. Anti-slavery activist Sean Rector fumed about her modelesque behaviour, and dubbed her, "Cleopatra", a title which would stick to Sarah for the rest of her stay. Christianity embodied. Personally, I consider it a badge of merit to be disliked by Sean Rector, but that might just be me. Anyways, the Maraamu tribes worst fears come true when Sarah leads Knucklehead #1 astray. Diabolical plots ensue, including but not limited to filling the raft with water to create a hot tub, and the creation of a radio program for the mornings. Strategy filled confessionals become a staple of Sarah's gameplay: "I find Rob attractive. And I know he finds me attractive. He told me so." The new relationship drew the ire of one Vecepia Towery, who observed both that "Sarah paid a lot for her body", and that "She might not want to use her body, but if it helps her out.." "God is great. God is kind." The next episode saw similar sentiments from the Maraamu tribe. Vecepia describes Rob and Sarah as Frick and Frack. Hunter expresses his extreme concern that Sarah could single-handedly lead the tribe astray. Air pilot. Knows where the threats are. Sarah, in an ironic twist of fate, was led astray by Knucklehead #1 and #2, and along with Vecepia, took over the Maraamu tribe, sending Patricia and Hunter home. Her screentime narrowed, but only until episode four, where Sarah once again re-emerged as a truly awful person. Separated in a twist from her minion, Sarah was sent back to Maraamu with a new Christian duo, a honking mother from Vermont, and a bitter Gina, who calls Sarah "lazy", expresses disdain for her survival skills, and points out her relative weakness in challenges. Sarah seems unaware of any hostility, expressing that "this tribe is so close, It's hard to tell who is going home." In a unanimous vote, the Maraamu tribe saved itself from the temptress that is Sarah in the fourth episode. How Gina Crews survived with her for 12 days is a mystery that has been left unsolved. Sarah blows a kiss to them all - one last attempt to seduce them! In what may be the most hilarious part of the one-sided Gina-Sarah rivalry, Sarah wishes everyone luck but "especially Gina". Fortunately, Gina isn't fooled by tricks as simple as that. Don't you worry about a thing. The Down Low on Sarah Jones CAN THE VILLAIN STAY ALIVE? Simply put, no. But that's part of Sarah's charm: she might be the most evil woman to grace the Marquesas Islands in decades, but she sure as hell doesn't understand or care how to play the game of Survivor. CAN THE VILLAIN SURVIVE? Were her challenge performances sometimes found lacking? Perhaps. Was her work ethic around camp questioned? Perhaps. Did her beauty and feminine wiles add a radiance to Maraamu that eluded Rotu throughout the game? Absolutely. IS THE VILLAIN QUOTABLE? Certainly not, but people are quotable on the subject of her. IS THEIR EDGIC ADMIRABLE? UTRN - MORN - UTR1 - OTTN3 For being the first villainess without realizing it, Sarah Jones gets the 29th slot.

Remove this ad I only saw Marquesas for the first time a few months ago and expecting Sarah to be a massively lazy bitch who spent all her time with Rob from what I'd heard about her. I was suprised that she was instead a well intentioned likable person who seemed to love and appreciate her tribemembers. I ended up liking her quite a bit.
