UPDATE NEW RULES:


TO ALL ACCEPTED TEAMS: WELCOME TO MOOYOU'S THE AMAZING RACE LIVE GAME 2!

Before we start racing, familiarize yourself with the NEW rules present in the game.

I. RACE ROUTE

This season is different from all other races because teams have control over their race route! Whenever a team arrives first at a pitstop, they are rewarded of altering the path of the racecourse. The host will PM them a list of clues or countries, wherein the race is possible to go.

Example:

Leg 1 lands in Indonesia. Ruffa and Annabelle (Moomee) lands first place on that leg. The host (Mooyou) will PM him/her a set of destinations like this:

You now have control over the race course! You have X number of options:
- Go north to the Philippines
- Go south to Australia
- Go east to Papua New Guinea
- Go west to Malaysia
- Stay in Indonesia
- Some more options...

Note that the clues may not be as defined as the above.

Now, the leading team has the complete power to move to which country provided they want to go to.

Example:

Moomee - chooses to go north to the Philippines.

The next leg will be fielded in the Philippines. And if Moomee/User lands first again, he or she has another chance to alter the race course to his desire. Of course, tasks will not be revealed, but you will have the power to be familiar with the territory, or the territory you want to visit.

Example:

Suya and Kacey arrives first in the Philippines. Now, it's Suya's turn to pick the route

and I will PM him:

You now have control over the race course! You can go the following directions:
- (insert picture of Bruce Lee) [HKG]
- (insert picture of Rice Paddies) [VIETNAM]
- (insert picture of Kuomintang) [TAIWAN]
- (insert picture of Genghis Khan) [MONGOLIA]

Clues may be as rough as this or as easy as the previous example.

This kind of plan will be done from Leg 1 - Leg 13. (With Leg 2 - Leg 14 being the choices/decisions of the first placers)

Note that this will alter and affect you in terms of countries visited, tasks and ESPECIALLY FLIGHTS, CURRENCY/MONEY, so you must choose wisely.

II. LOCALS

Similar to Wan and Chung's (Katsuya's Races) This season will have locals that teams can interact with. They can harm you, aid you, ditch you, trick you or assist you in tasks and directions. A team going to a local will be losing one or more updates, depending on the information they want to get.

In all legs, there will be a *INTERACT WITH LOCAL* sign, and a list of a number people that teams may use. Some will require payments in order for information to come out. Some will get your money and ditch you, some will make you lose updates, some will be extremely helpful. To prevent cheating and accusations of rigging, I will be posting the Random.org Timestamp after every leg as proof.

Example:

Beel and Maude is in Taiwan

*Claim car A - F; 2 will break down!*
*INTERACT WITH LOCAL [Old Geezer, Weird Monk, Nate and Jen]*

Post: *Interact with (NATE AND JEN)!* (-200 NTD)

In a PM to the user, the host would reveal what Nate and Jen knows...

Nate: Oh! It's Jen's Birthday! Let her pick the car for you!
Jen: ADCgodd.ess <333 I think car E would be perfect! Believe me, I'm lucky today!

- As we all know, Nate and Jen got ELIMINATED in Taiwan, so, that could be one of the damaged car. A little logic is required in some cases like this.

This will extremely help in Luck Tasks, Logic Tasks as clues may be handed out. But guess what, not all bitches will give you hints...

Example:

Post: *Interact with (Old Geeezer)!* (-200 NTD)

PM'ed:

Old Geezer: *Chinese words*, when google translated is equivalent to = I don't know! Go ask the others!

Which loses you an update.

III. PITSTART DEPARTURES

What you sow is what you reap.

To give out a headstart to those who performed well the previous leg, each pit start will now be based on updates, aside on selected timed check ins - which will only be revealed once a team checks in.

What do I mean?

Example:

UPDATE 1: Suya and Kacey checks in; Ben and Gwen checks in;
UPDATE 2: NO CHECK IN
UPDATE 3: NO CHECK IN
UPDATE 4: Beel and Maude checks in;
UPDATE 5: Ben and Booba checks in;
AFTER 50 more updates of no check ins...
UPDATE 56: Daisuke and Saburo checks in...

It would be SOOOOOOOOO unfair if Daisuke and Saburo gets a headstart among the others, by releasing them all at the same time... amirite?

So, a solution to the said thing at the beginning of the next leg is:

SOLUTION:

UPDATE 1: Suya and Kacey and Ben and Gwen departs
UPDATE 2: Beel and Maude departs
UPDATE 3: Ben and Booba departs
UPDATE 4: Daisuke and Saburo departs after all of them have departed.

This is a solution to the following problems worth mentioning:

- excessive cheapness of teams like but not limited to: dapa091, bryanpasa, which takes more than 20 - 30 minutes to check in after all other teams have checked in.
- first placer and high placing teams getting robbed of flights because of screwy internet the next leg, allowing teams who checked in more than 30 minutes after them ahead of the game (glares at dapa)
- Money wasting first placer or high placer teams like but not limited to: pinoyako, who gets the fastest and the most expensive transport the previous leg to use a slower mode of transport so that they wont get bankrupt.

IV. FLIGHTS

In relation to the choose your route rule, flights WILL BE RESEARCHED BY THE HOST this time. That means, the more airlines present that will bring you from location A to location B, the more choices (but not all flights) of flight there will be. Also, even though the times will not be present, the airline carrier with the fastest flight arriving will be the first departing flight for the leg, followed by the others.

Example:

Ruffa and Annabelle chose to go from Indonesia to Philippines...

Mooyou researches flights leaving Jakarta to Manila

Garuda Air ARRIVES: 9:30
Singapore Airlines ARRIVES: 14:30
Cathay Pacific ARRIVES: 12:30
and some 3 more...

Only the top three choices will be chosen, and will be ranked accordingly.

During the flight sequence of the leg:

Garuda Air will first arrive in Manila
followed by Cathay, then Singapore Airlines.

So luck will not be the basis of flights. And you can do a little research on which flight goes first or not, while waiting for your updates.

WARNING: Bunching may occur if the race course would fall into African countries having 1 or 2 to no flights at all.

V. MONEY AND BEGGING

Begging rules: Teams may beg for 3 updates ONCE every leg. What you will get is 10 USD in the currency of the location you are in.

Exchanging Money: Teams this time still can exchange money in the airport/train station or seaport for no additional updates or before starting the course after they arrive at the location of the next leg. If teams lack money anytime during the leg itself and would wish to exchange again (see: TimmyTAR exchanging Mexican Pesos to USD to Mexican Pesos again to gain money in ATTAR7 Leg 10) they will be given the option to *exchange money*, which will cause them to lose updates until they have finished exchanging their cash.

This is a solution to teams particularly exchanging money every so often and increasing money and spends like there's no tomorrow.

Hopefully, these new rules will be implemented smoothly once the race starts.

ADDED RULES:
*Always USE your AVATAR. Because of many teams, the host will get dizzy of course remembering who's using who. So always use the provided avatars or you will NOT move.

GENERAL RACE RULES!

UPDATES
All you need to do is to post what updates pop for your team. Simply copy and paste what you are told to do.

Example:

*Run to bags and rip clue!*

Mooyou would post: *Run to bags and rip clue!*

TASKS AND LEG STRUCTURE

• The race is divided into a number of legs. The end of each leg has a pit stop. Majority of pit stops are elimination points, that means if you arrive last, you will be eliminated. Teams being spared from elimination are faced with a Speed Bump the next leg - an extra task they need to perform in order to continue racing. 1 of the legs is a Superleg - with two detours and two roadblocks.
  
• Legs will usually last 1 - 2 hour/s, depending on how fast you complete the tasks.
  
• Only a maximum of 8 roadblocks can be completed by each team-member during the entire race.
• All teams may only use the Fast Forward once during the Race.
• The Yield is evicted from the racecourse.
• Five types of tasks will appear: SKILL TASKS (involves your skill, arts, writing, creativity - in short - gay tasks) RESEARCH TASKS (this needs more brain juice than the skill one) SPEED TASKS (unless Yuku fucks off), LUCK TASK (bitchy skank task capable of rawbbage) and the FINAL TASK.
  

MONEY

• At the start of every leg, money will be handed out to every team.
• Teams may convert their money to their desired currency anytime during the race.
• Begging: This season there are two ways to beg for money. 
• 1) teams will be introduced to a begging rate for every leg (example: 1000 YEN = 4 UPDATES). In order to beg, teams will have to post *Beg for money!* and must wait for the certain time/update in order to claim their cash.
  
• 2) Fellow teams AHEAD of a team that does begging may donate any amount they wish and in any number of times they want, however, in order for the begging team to claim it, they must reach the said clue where the team donated. Furthermore, the team needing the money cannot do any other action than claiming the money during the update. Teams may beg using both of these ways only ONCE during the race (so it's a total of two times).
• Bonus Money: Teams will be getting bonus money in two ways: 1. A Prediction Round which comprises of arranging the team's arrival at the Pit Stop, and 2. Quotes chosen by the public. Teams will be notified of their bonus money only before the leg starts, and will be responsible in adding it to their base cash.

AIRPORTS AND TRANSPORTATION

• Contrary to other seasons, Airports and Transportation will work differently this time.
• AIRPORTS: Teams will now be given options to reserve their tickets via: A) Calling the Airline B) Internet Booking aside from the normal running to the counters and purchasing airline tickets. This season will also include a queue order, contrary to a mash up of Yuku-bumped posts.
• TRANSPORTATION: This season, some of the prices of taxis and some other forms of transport will not be fixed, allowing for haggling. Teams will be told a base level they can pay they taxi-driver. Paying over a certain (unrevealed) amount, will lead to a happier and more eager to please driver and therefore a faster journey. Teams may also get away with paying under the base level if they are eager to save money; however, paying below a certain (unrevealed) amount will cause their journey to take a lot longer than necessary.
• Buses and Subway trains have static fares that must be paid unless specified.

CONTROVERSIES

• Of course, all games have their set of controversies. In this case, if we skip you or so in an update, please announce it in the thread so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Unless we call the decision as final, nothing is final during the leg. Elimination challenges may occur when we do not call a decision when times call for it.
• YUKU-BUMPED POSTS NEED PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE. If you don't have a photographic evidence, then we won't allow you to do the decision unless it's pretty obvious. If Yuku is down for more than 20 minutes during the leg, then the leg is postponed to the next date available.

PROXY ISSUE
You may get proxied only THRICE in the entire race.
NEW RULE: Anyone may be proxied up to the penultimate episode. No proxies will be allowed during the Finale comprised of the two final legs.

We can talk about the time, and completely give away the primetime or later time slots; give this race to cater Asian and Australian/European folks and I can move in the All Star Sucks site - similar on how we're doing All Stars Sucks. ^_^
