But you can do a mini-ranking of the season 20 cast first, that won't take long. The other two I have no idea about.

Posts: 2021 (12/15/09 10:20 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	20 -- JAMES CLEMENT James has been on two seasons in a row not too long ago, made it to 7th in China and in Micronesia, and he was equally boring both times. I don't hate him or anything, but I don't ever want to see him on Survivor again. I get ~why~ they cast him being the fan favourite two seasons in a row, but tbh I have no idea why he is that popular with the casual audience. Also I guess they wanted to have a token black guy -- but if that was a concern, there were several better options: Gervase, Sean, Rory and Dreamz to name a few. Personally there are a lot of people I'd rather see, and even though he wasn't really a big camera whore in Micronesia, I'm sure he will steal screen time away from someone infinitely more interesting.

Hopefully he will get less screen time devoted to him in s20, but I'm not hopeful. You just know he will try his very best to steal the spotlight away from all the other, better, villains on his tribe. If Russell wins Samoa, I bet we will get promos like "can the smartest player EVER do it again?" and if he loses they will try to spin it like he's going back for revenge or something stupid. Barf. The one thing that makes me not rank Russell dead last is the possibility of him being brutally owned or laughed at by his fellow castaways. With Sandra, Courtney, Jerri, Parv, Danielle Boston Rob, Tyson, Coach and Randy on his team, I'm confident someone will call him out on his bullshit or make fun of him. Plz. Anyways, I'm against All Star players going back to back and being unknown to the other cast. Theoretically it could work against them not having a pregame alliance, but as we saw in ASS and Micronesia it seems more of an advantage not coming in with a reputation.

Overall I think the cast is pretty strong, obviously the cast can always be better, but tbh I was expecting a lot worse. #18, Sugar, is a person I get why they cast, and I'm not saying she's necessarily a bad casting choice either. I just really can't stand her, and I will root against her. I won't deny she brought some entertainment to Gabon, but if there's one thing I hate on Survivor it's talk of "good" and "bad" people -- who is deserving and who is not. The positive thing is that I'm guessing most of the people on the heroes tribe have seen Gabon, so they know what to expect from her. Best case scenario she is a hilarious train wreck, worst case scenario she turns out as a pathetic "underdog" like Sierra. I'm not expecting her to m.orph into a strategical and social mastermind, but if we're lucky she might give us some entertainment.

The only ones are Jerri, Colby, Tom, Sandra, Candace and somewhat Courteney. All the others I either have my fill by now (Stephneie, James, Russell, Cirie, Amanda, Parvati) Don't think they have any business there at all (Danielle, Tyson) or won't add anything to the season (Rupert, JT, Coach, Sugar, Randy). And I'll be glad to see Mariano back but only if het gets his ass kicked this time. Still sounds like a promising season though.

Remove this ad I would be more excited for this season if there weren't people playing for a third time. I love Cirie and like Colby, but I don't need to see them again. And I definitely haven't missed Rupert, Parvati, Jerri James or Amanda (Lividmanda, yes, Amanda, no) at all, let alone enough to see them thrice. Also, you know that Simpsons Y2K episode where a group of the most annoying celebrities are sent directly to the sun? I think the Villains tribe should fill that plane.
