I was also entertained by Dave but came close to hating him after reading and watching his post game interviews. Too late to fan the hate, he's gone.

Yeah, I sorta stopped liking him after the interviews too. Came off as a major condescending douche, bashing just about everyone.

There were two major things that bothered me about his interviews.

First, he does a complete turn around on his opinion about Russell's game. During his immediate exit interview, he talked as if Russell were the survivor god to whom everyone should bow, but then in his media interviews after we watched, he starts carping on Russell's game. I still have hopes that he's just trying to throw people off as far as who he voted for at the end. Not that I care if Russell wins or not - he certainly did blow his social game to hell. But it makes Dave seem inconsistent and loopy.

I also don't care if he hates Shambo - he has his reasons. But to openly say that she's mentally ill and then elaborate what illness he thinks she has during an interview, when he is not qualified to evaluate anyone like that, let alone someone he interacted with under extreme circumstances (and also someone he hates) - is just so wrong on so many levels.

Yep. Those things bothered me as well, especially the Shambo thing. He came off as so bitter in every interview he did. (Although I'm glad he kinda put Dalton in his place, I can't stand Dalton).

BTW...he elaborated on Shambo having an illness? As in tried to form some kind of diagnosis as to what's wrong with her? That's just low. I didn't hear that part, because I was too in shock from when he actually said she as "mentally ill" to pay attention for the next 15 seconds...

I'm pretty sure he said she was schizophrenic.

Edit: Sorry, just revisited the interview and now realize I mixed up a sucks poster's assessment of Shambo with what Dave actually said. Dave actually said Shambo is "deranged" and "mentally ill".
