This was without a doubt the best new now of the year. Let alone my current favorite sitcom. Soooo great.

The second episode of The League may be the funniest episode of any show this year (although The Waitress Gets Married episode of IASIP was really close).
"If we got a divorce, she would get half my money, making me ostensibly poor yet still paying her to just get pounded by other d.udes. Which will happen because she's still smoking hot whereas I look like a Nazi propoganda cartoon of a Jew." Ruxin is a fucking riot. He was also hilarious in the criminally underrated Cavemen. Yeah, I said it. |

my favorites are the Shiva Bowl and the fun with feces episode. Actually, all 6 episodes are awesome.

Hanson wrote:My favorite line of the season too Hanson. I was laughing for weeks on that one. He was in Cavemen? Never watched that show. The only people on the show i ever recognized from anything else was Paul Scheer and all the wives. |

I recognized all the guys except Taco and Kevin. Ruxin and Paul Scheer are vh1 regulars and I saw Mark Duplass in Humpday. Taco's music videos in youtube
are hilarious

I just watched all 6 episodes this week, this show is hilarious. You can't go wrong with a really good comedy sprinkled in with some fantasy football stuff.
Looking forward to season 2 starting tonight! |

I enjoyed this one tremendously. Didn't get much fanfare with MODERN FAMILY, GLEE and COMMUNITY last year, but definitely looking forward to the new season.

Me too, it started to find its mojo towards the end of last season, so I'm excited to see what they do this year.

I liked the first season, but there were some dead spots where you could see the show struggling to figure things out. Hoping it takes a Parks and Recreation-style leap from s1 to s2. I'll definitely be watching.

I really enjoyed the premiere, though I wonder what the hell they are going to do with Ruxin's brother in law...will he be a part of the show now or just a one episode character? He is just bizarre, and they already have Taco & Andre to fill the quirky role, the BIL may be a bit too much.

The season premiere had a few somewhat funny parts mixed with a lot of bad or awkward parts. Having Chad Ochocinco as a guest star made it worse. The "child please" thing was annoying.

I love this show, but how in the hell did it make any sense that Sophia was using her foot on Pete on one side on the bed, yet Ruxin's voice was clearly coming from the other side of the bed and she still had no idea there was another person in the room?

Is anyone watching this season?
I thought this week's episode was funny only because they talked about Pierre Thomas having a great game against the Steelers even though he has been out for 5 or so weeks at this point. I wonder how far in advance they film it. |

I thought last weeks episode (Ruxin's anniversary party) was the funniest episode they have ever had. I loved everything about it, especially Taco's wedding video.

I've been loving this show this season, but it gets lost in the Thursday night shuffle between the NBC shows, the ABC shows, the BRAVO shows, FRINGE and PROJECT RUNWAY. I look forward to this one each week almost as much as MODERN FAMILY and COMMUNITY.

The League has a nice streak of awesome guest stars going. Last week we had Maeby Funke and this week our guest star was Bill Haverchuck <3
