600 out of 900. I guess I'll take it.

I think I got a 750/900. I'm on a three week good score run....I'm sure it's going to come to a screeching halt any time now.

Yes, but we KNOW Jack has that tattoo. We had that whole discussion back in Season 3 after his lame Phuket episode. We're NOT seeing it for the first time.
That coupled with the fact that we're familiar with Jack's tattoos means it should count as it was clearly visible. I admit the screencap I posted was
not the best. You also shouldn't need a screencap in order to see that tattoo. MissScamper herself said she saw it.

So who's final interpretation of what happened are we going by? Just curious to find out how I did. Oh and the pick of Jack's arm in the cap looks
like a bruise, just saying.

To me, "clearly visible" means your average Joe who doesn't usually watch would see and notice "Hey, that guy has a tattoo", not that
people who know it's there and are looking for it could make it out. That being said, I haven't watched the eppy yet so I have no idea if I think it
was clearly visible or not. I'm assuming that cap wasn't the only instance in the eppy, just an example. Because that cap, to me, is not even close to
being clearly visible. It could be dirt, could be a shadow, who knows.

I actually found the question in question to be fascinating...since we KNOW Jack has a tattoo.
Some would have answered the question yes using just that knowledge. But Miss Scamper pointed out that a tattoo would have to be clearly visible...not just a quick glance, and even used the example from last weeks episode with the guy on the freighter. Now I admit I don't have HDTV for my bigscreen tv. I only have digitalized satellite (Directv). But I did just go to ABC.com and watch it on their HDTV Streamed. I was prepared to concede if I clearly saw the tattoo. One would have to know that Jack has a tattoo to determine he has a tattoo. It was not a displayed tattoo (such as when he wears short sleeved shirts and shows them off). I agree with Cindidindi's interpretation of the question in that it needed to be clearly visible and not look like a possible bruise, shadow or dirt. But...the answer to the question can only be answered by Miss Scamper...who knows precisely what they were wanting when they asked the question. |

Get someone who doesn't know anything about LOST to watch the whole episode (anyone know any of those people?). Tell them to see if they see any tatoo any
time in the episode. If they see it, it counts.
I forgot what I put for that question. |

My husband watches LOST but he doesn't know where Matthew Fox's tattoos are so I had him watch a few scenes without telling him anything except see if
you see any tattoos in these scenes. He picked them out every time.

FeliciaM7 wrote: The Tattoo question: I gave it a lot of thought, and I did look at screen caps to confirm what I thought I saw while watching the episode. I was looking at
Jack's arm for the tattoos and I saw them. However, it was very briefly seen. I said the tattoos must be readily visible, like the freighter guy's
tattoos on his shoulder. I also said I didn't want to have to debate whether a small spot on someone's ankle is a tattoo or not. Since we all know Jack
has tattoos on his arm, I can't debate whether the color I see on his arm is a tattoo or not. But it was shown so very quickly. I think the best way to
handle this particular question is to accept both a) 0 and b)1 as correct answers.

I nominate Miss Scamper for the Supreme Court<g>. Great Judgement...thank-you for listening to both sides so very carefully and thoughtfully. |

Why couldn't it be the Oceanic Seven! Hahaha...maybe next week. Until now, I can just be Aaron...made it off the island, but I guess not one of the chosen
six.

Damn those 200 point crapshoots!
Seriously, all you people who consistently get 90%+ on all of these quizzes make me sick. I hope you crash on a mysterious island and get eaten by polar bears. |

Only if you crash with me. Jungle love!
I think I should be awarded a perfect score for this quiz since today is my birthday. |

after that last quiz...I'm thinking Miss Scamper has been time traveling with Desmond<g>. Who'd have thought that someone would actually be swimming in this ep? that Sawyer wouldn't be reading a book? That gloves would be worn? That two someones would run their fingers through their hair? my MO of answering no on questions totally failed me. BTW...Happy Happy Birthday to Felicia! |

Happy birthday Felicia!
I was so mad when I saw Juliet in the water! And then the hill I thought might be the hill/slope like in the question but when I came back here I saw the question specified the top. You must see screencaps of the episode beforehand or something to come up with these questions, right, MissScamper? |
