I watched the episode twice last night, just to count the Jacks. It was a sacrifice, but no sacrifice is too great for y'all and the weekly quiz.

Here's what I think are the answers for this week's quiz

1. No, no scarf
2. Yep, one of the background characters was wearing a wife-beater t-shirt.
3. Yes, Sawyer had a nickname for Miles. It sounded like Goober, but I couldn't hear him clearly.
4. No, no one filled a water bottle.
5. No, no one climbed a tree.
6. No, no one mentioned Sayid or Desmond.
7. Yes, there was a campfire this episode.
8. No, no one boiled water on screen. It was boiled off screen, dang it!
9. No, no one sat on the beach looking out to sea.
10. No, no one turned on a radio or CD player. Jack turned on a tape recorder, dang it.
11. I heard Jack's name 43 f'ing times on my second count. The first time I heard it 36 times, but I think my 2nd count is more accurate, dang it! (Can you tell I picked 36 as my answer?)
12. No, no shot of the moon.
13. No, we didn't see Locke and Hurley didn't mention Claire or Sawyer.
14. No, we didn't see Ben.

Please post your Jack counts so we can get a concensus. Did anyone use the closed captioning feature to count Jacks?

I just want to say I doubled-checked the shot of the solar system mobile in Aaron's bedroom. I didn't see the moon on it. If anyone did see the moon on the mobile, please post a screencap.

Also, I don't think we can count Jack putting water in the carafe to make coffee as boiling water.

Sawyer used the nickname WAY before the waking up scene. I think it was the first, possibly second, time we saw them on the travels across the island.

So, it looks as though 40+ is the official answer for the Jack question, so we're ready to tally the answers. Or not. It's ok with me if we just don't count this week's quiz.
