I was getting quite irritated getting those caps because they had caps of pretty much every second of that scene except the one I was looking
for that showed the whole road really well. The road wasn't even that wet, less wet than his car, which was kind of funny.

It is NOT raining.
Pesmond DID go down steps. Scamper specified the type of flowers we were looking for. The entire point of going back and checking and re-checking is to make sure we got questions right. This is not a "Oh well, I don't know what algorithms are, so any flower I see (especially that palm tree in the distance, could be an arthroscopic!) count!!1!" type of debate. We research what albanians are, then we look for them in the episode. If there are only RED alabasters, then RED is the correct answer. I hate semantics, man. |

I didn't expect to have to google what a fucking flower looks like so I'd recognize it on the show? How many times has anyone had to do that? Never.
FINE, only the red flowers counted.
Ok, so we all know what tattoos look like, right? How come everyone didn't google Jack's tattoos so you'd LOOK for the other one UNDER his arm that was shown clearly to me.. cuz I know what all his tats look like and where they are, but nooo it didn't count cuz it looked like a bruise or something, but we all know it wasn't a bruise, it was a tattoo!! GIAA - don't make me hunt you down and take a dump in your yard! Wow. No more quiz fights until next year. This sucks! Aslans - We might have to divide these answers up and do scores together. I 'bout went bug-eyed like Ben trying to tally my own score. |

Felicia, sorry you don't know what an anthurium looks like but the anthuriums in the greenhouse were red & red only. They are classified as red, pink,
white, multi-color. The multis have a greenish tinge with white & some pink. The stamens don't count as they are not the petals of the flower.
The white flowers we saw in the greenhouse were NOT anthuriums. Greenhouses have many different kinds of flowers so you could expect to see at least a few different kinds growing there, especially since it's in a tropical place. If the question were What color Volkswagons will we see parked at Hurley's house....red, blue, green or all the above? Say I answered all the above since I don't know what a Volkswagon is but I was including blue & green Volvos too......wouldn't I be wrong if there were only white Volkswagons parked at Hurley's house? |

No you'd get the points or it would be thrown out because "white" or "none of the above" was the correct answer. Only red, blue and
green or all three were the only options and all of those were wrong.

Therefore, white was the only answer. To tell you the truth, even if I'd have answered differently, I'd still be arguing that red was correct. However, I understand your frustration. eta: My rationale for choosing red? Red is the most commonly recognized color of anthurium & Darlton loves to use spots of red in lots of scenes. So I answered red.

How can you give an example with the actual answer not being one of the options and still say white is the answer?? White wasn't an
option! SO to me, the question would be thrown out in that scenario. The flower question does have an answer!! Am I losing it or what?
LJ - That is so cool that you've worked on movie sets. I'd love to do that! Closest I came was the movie Casper which was filmed in the next county over from where I live. Didn't make it. I soo wanted to meet Bill Pulman and Christina Ricci. Scamp, do we have a final call on the quiz? No to rain, yes to steps, C - red for #25. All the rest of my unofficials were correct? It's gonna take awhile to do the scoring. I highly doubt I'll get it done today. |

the antheriums question reminds me of the wife beater question. I assumed what a wife beater looked like...so I missed that question. Many here seemed to be assuming what is or isn't an antherium. Ben distinctly points out what he was referring to. But the specific spot (outside the elevator) that he refers to seems to only have red antheriums there...even though there are all sorts of other varieties and colors all around that general area. So I think Miss Scamper has the correct answer determined for this question: red. But regardless...that was one of the best scenes of the show....Ben asking Locke if he didn't have a clue what they looked like?<g> |

Ugh. I think I got a piddly 1100. I swear, I think I only got 1 or 2 of the 100+ point questions right. Including one that I really thought I had right, but
then saw that I didn't answer what I thought I answered.
I'm going to be pissed if I go from 1st to out of the top 6 on the last fucking quiz. But that's just about par for the course for me, lol. |

I thought I had answered no to the rain question, so when people were saying it had rained, I was all like 'Oh no!'...and then everyone decided that it didn't rain, so I got excited. Then I went to check out my score, and I said it would rain after all. Boooooo to me. I also answered Red and White to the flower question. Sigh. Hahaha |
