So I took about nine months off, and broke the habit of checking in with this forum on a daily and/or hourly basis. To top it off, my seven-year old accidentally deleted all of last season's episodes from the DVR in favor of 59 hours of Pokemon, leaving me with no easy way to grab a nightly dose of Lost re-runs. And, during that entire time frame I brought in more new clients, billed more hours, made gobs more money, spent more time with my kids, coached three teams, helped take care of a sick relative, lost 15 pounds and wrote a couple of decent short stories. In essence, I became Superdad. Anyone else see a correlation?

But today my spidey-sense was tingling and I had to stop by, only to find out that Felicia is feeling cops and Fluffy is daydreaming about a long, slow nooner. Some things never change, I guess. But in this case, the feeling of deja vu is strangely comforting.

I for one am looking forward to reverting back to my lazy-ass, soft-bellied, obsessive tv-watching self, starting this Thursday night. I've already warmed up the straightjackets and muzzles for the wife and kids, and I broke into my neighbors houses in order to set multiple recorders in case the satellite goes all wonky. As a wise Sponge once said, "Ahm reeaaady, ahm reeaaady, ahm reeaaaady".

Yes, Fluffy, I did hear. (sniffle) In fact, I happened to randomly check in here right after she passed, and that was the last time I posted in the Lost forum in recent months. On Thursday I'll be dedicating my first glass of whiskey and my descent back into couch potatohood to her.

I've been meaning to ask you, why are you so Fluffy? Did you fluff a lot of pillows as a nurse, or are your pillows just super fluffy? Either way is pretty hot. (Shhh, don't tell Felicia I'm flirting with someone else.)
