Anyways, I got Heroes on Felicia and Cheyenie's advice. I've only watched the first 2 eps, but I'm enjoying it so far. There's already been
some cool little twists. I like Hiro and Niki. The Petrellis are boring.

Shall we rename this thread "Bad Boyfriend's Running Commentary on the First Season of Heroes"?
Only up to episode 4, but it's still consistently good. I really like how it's building towards the conclusion of the cataclysm that destroys NYC. Hiro is still the best, and I'm actually starting to like Peter more. The scene with Meestah Ee-sock Mendez painting the picture of Claire on the stairs was pretty cool, and so was the one in the subway with Peter and Future Hiro. And I'm guessing the whole plot with Sylar is basically the show's main storyline, but so far it's not interesting to me yet. Whenever Mohinder starts talking I start thinking to myself "What else is on? Oh wait....it's a DVD." As good as Heroes is, it's rather futile for me to even compare it to Lost. There's just no contest. It's like comparing a meatball sub to a lobster dinner. Sure it's good, but it's not even in the same league, you know? |

Cindi - Just move your ass to the dark side. You'll learn a little but still be as confused as the rest of us are.
BB - My least favorite "hero" is Hiro. I don't dislike him, but he kinda gets on my nerves sometimes. I like his buddy more. Isaac is the hottest junkie paint-the-future dude I've ever seen. Mohinder is one of my favorites but he has been written to be a complete dork most of the time. I love Peter, Nathan, Claire, HRG (her dad), and Jessica/Nikki and her son. I'd like to get a hold of that kid for one hour so he can play ATM games with me. Heroes should never be compared to Lost in my opinion. |

"Chapter Nine: Homecoming" = Best episode so far.
I especially lurved Claire and Zach in this one. The Sylar stuff is kind ctahing my interest, and I think I love badass Jessica more than Niki. But I just don't get Mohinder's weird dream kid whatsoever. |

Matt....ummmm, oh you mean Captain Seth Norris?
At first I absolutely hated his storyline because it was like this super cool mind reading cop gets completely emasculated by officers Vagina Dentata and Toxic Shock Syndrome. When Sylar almost made Clea DuVall kill herself, I was all "Yeah! Do it!" (ok, that's kind of gruesome) But she's ok now. That other one is still a frigid bitch. Overall, Matt's story is just ok in my book. The dream kid I was talking about was the little oddball that played soccer and gave Mohinder a key. Here's how I'd rank the storylines thus far (obviously this is somewhat fruitless, since at the point I'm at right now in the series, the characters are meeting each other and their stories are rapidly intersecting): 1. Peter (yeah, I think he's my new fave) 2. Hiro 3. Niki/Jessica 4. Claire 5. Nathan 6. Isaac 7. Matt 8. Sylar 9. Mohinder |

Oh wow. I love Matt. Maybe I just have a thing for guys with that name? :b I remember the episodes you're talking about kinda sorta but Matt's
storyline and power amps up. His character was one that actually improved a lot in season two.
I really liked him from the beginning though. I could have been a little biased cuz I also liked him in Alias. I don't even remember the soccer kid. Maybe I need to watch season one again... Peter is number one??? See, I knew you'd learn to love Peter! |

Maybe I need to watch season one again...The soccer kid is the boy who holds a football in one arm, and who sometimes appears in front of Mohinder ( an apparition?) thus forcing Mohinder to follow him and demand answers, and then he disappears into thin air. In 'Lost', he might be yet another form of Smokey ;) |
