Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge. With that knowledge came shame in their nudity. I don't remember anything about sexuality. Seems like God didn't have a problem with them procreating. or creating eve because Adam had an urge to stick his thing into something. Yeah, it was definitely not about their sexuality. They were having relations before they ate the fruit. |

of the fruit they became aware of their sin--disobeying God. God has no problem with sexuality. Does "Be fruitful and multiply" ring a bell?
You're trying to apply a literature metaphor to a theological fact.</tangent>

First of all, "theological fact" is an oxymoron.
Second, the Bible IS a piece of literature and it is thus worth reading it as such. Some people attribute more meaning to it, other people don't, but the fact of the matter is that it is a piece of literature for every reader. "Be fruitful and multiply" refers to procreation, not exactly the bump-n-grind sex with which we're familiar today. The text on the page says that they became aware of their sins when they ate the fruit and became ashamed of their nakedness. But if you read even slightly between the lines you can see there's a sexual element, that their sexual awakening was a part of their downfall. |

So this whole moving the island thing makes it again seem like there's a ancient buried alien spaceship under the island, just like in the one Stephen King
novel. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it until its proven otherwise.

Alien does seem right because Ben refered to some energy source of unknown origin in the shaft where the donkey wheel was. This provided them the with ability
to do teleportation, which explains how they got things and people to the island and vice versa. I think by breaking that device so it was no longer self
contained - everything on the island got teleported somewhere.
But Ben didn't move with the island and he was right in the thick of this energy.He'll emerge from that well somewhere else in the world. It's almost like where he was doesn't really move, the rest of the world does. |

In the video that Locke watched in The Orchid. Dr. Halliwax shows the bunny going into the alleged time machine, or what Dharma calls The Vault. Before the
tape finishes and starts to automatically rewind, he states "the unique properties of this island have created a kind of Casimir Effect allowing the
dharma initiative to conduct unique experiments in both space and time". The vault, "constructed adjacent to a pocket of what we believe to be
negatively charged exotic matter".

Adam and Eve are having lots of sex in the spaceship underneath the Island and the smell of apples permeates the clothes of all the castaways...
Seriously, I think the show ends with the Oceanic plane landing in LA and all the people getting off without even knowing one another. I think that in the end Ben finds a way to turn the clock back before the crash and makes sure that Desmond hits the key. It is all about manipulated time. |

So the BF has been watching LOST with me since mid season 4, and really likes it. Since I own all the seasons on DVD, we started watching from the beginning.
He keeps asking questions abut the future and whatnot, like where the others are, where Ben is, and yadda yadda yadda. He raises possible suggestions, and
it's interesting since he's kinda got free range 'carte blanche', and his opinions and views aren't marred by others.
He suggested that - since he knows there's a space/time continuum issue- and ben is able to get off the island and whatnot, that Claire's baby Aaron is actually infact Ben. I know we've met Ben's parents, but thought it was a neat idea none the less. |

But we saw Ben's birth, and we saw his mother in a flashback. She was definitely NOT claire :P
Aaron isnt Ben, but its right to connect them closely to each other..as well as Locke. |

Don't know if this has been mentioned as I've been staying away from this thread to remain spoiler and speculation free, but I have a theory after
watching this ep. Locke and Ben say the O6 have to go back to the island to save their friends. It's obvious now that they are constants for the island
folk. But bigger than that, I think that the O6 and whomever else has to go back are constants for the island. The island is confused and skipping around in
time like Desmond was. It needs the O6 to get it's bearings back and find it's proper point in time, just like Desmond. The island started flipping
through time and it thinks the O6 should be there and is freaking out.
Ben is just piggybacking them to get back himself. |

Building on your theory, I think the island is so batshit crazy because the O6 were never supposed to leave. Desmond is the only person who can break the rules
of a pre-determined timeline. Therefore, he kept Charlie alive way past his expiration date, therefore enabling Charlie to turn off the signal blocker which
resulted in the rescue of the 06. Time has never been disrupted before, and until the 06 return, the island will be jumping around time, confused, trying to
correct itself.
