yeah i was shocked when they asked the gay question when i gave blood, it seemed pretty obviously homophobic but whatevs
anyway the *best* reason for giving blood is so you get the little card that has your name and blood type on it. ~b positive bitches~ |

Of course I could get away with lying and faking straight in order to give blood.
But I LIKE my blood. It sloshes around inside of me and makes me feel good, all oxygenated and sometimes even ruddy. The cookie reward is tempting, sure. Any cookie just HANDED to me is far better than a cookie I have to retrieve on my own. No denying that. Still, I figure other people are giving blood so I don't need to worry about it. I can continue donating other bodily fluids which are far more easily extracted than blood. Most of all, what if they gave my blood to someone I would normally not like if I met them? Some general asshole. Or a Republican? No, I won't have that. |
