IF a previous winner wins Heroes vs Villains... |
Lead | |
|
Would they be considered the very absolute best among the hundreds who've played before?

I think they would have to be... When the show finally ends I hope the very last season is an all winners season for a prize greater than 1 million. This would determine the absolute best.

Considering the three winners left on the game played great games on their winning seasons, and they all are playing well now (JT's stupid decision to boot Tom aside), if one of them wins, s/he might as well be the best player ever.

I think so. It would have to be Jt, Parvati, or Sandra I think and really I guess that it doesn't matter who it is because any winner would have a big target you would think.

It would depend on how they get there. I think that for Parvati or JT to win it'd be very impressive considering that they've had quite a target on their backs. Sandra doing a double-win would be interesting but not all that impressive, since many don't see her old win as a very proactive one. She will have to play hard to make the merge though, since she's a weak competitor, and that's something. I don't know that I would consider the winner the ULTIMATE SURVIVOR or anything like that, just because All Star seasons are so very different. It will be impressive if it happens, but I probably won't call them the best Survivor ever. |

if ever someone who hasn't won yet gets to the FTC then its either the jury votes for him/her or they vote for someone who played the game really well...but we're not even half through the season yet...who knows, someone might step up when the merge comes...oh yeah, quick question...what do you think the merged tribe's name will be? any ideas

Hellains? . .that would be kind of funny (it being close to Hellions and all)

yeah I imagined something like that too...the ol' merge the two former tribe's name move...I hope one of the castaways will have a good name for the tribe at least

Villeros seems like something they would do if they did the combine the names crap again

Neutral Tribe possibly?
If someone won twice I'd be shocked. Hopefully Parvati can make it happen <3 I feel as though winning twice makes you the best player but it really depends on how the person got there. Like Amber/Bob could win twice but they would still be considered one of the worst winners.

Yes if you win this game twice you are the best player to ever play Survivor. There is no need to even argue this. Because if you don't think so...well then you're an idiot.

They probably won't though unless they're at the end with another winner.

To answer the topic, if JT or Sandra were to win, then yes they'd have to be considered best ever, if Parvati won, then no.

I know this is kind of silly at this point but whenever you post a spoiler in a non-spoiler forum
start it this way "[spoiler]" and end it this way "/spoiler" and take the quotes off (add brackets to the second one)

A win isn't a win in my book. I mean kudos for being on a season where a player like Sugar/Rob are willing to drag your ass to the final 2/3 and the jury vote against you but really, it doesn't make you a good winner, it just makes you lucky enough to side with that person. Sandra for the Neutral tribe <333 |

WTara <3. I hate the hardline objective "The winner is the best player, only the winner deserved to win" crap (mostly BS to justify Kelly's Samoa win, because you'd never hear sucksters arguing this with a Bob-type winner). It's possible in theory to win the game sitting in a tree for 39 days, coming down only for challenges and TCs while never speaking a word to anyone. That kind of "game" wouldn't be respected, and shouldn't be. Luck is a huge part of Survivor, and I wish everyone could accept this while not mistaking luck with effort. The less direct or indirect control you have over your own success, the more you deserve to win, IMO. Same goes for a double winner....I'd evaluate post-game what factors led them to victory in their two games and decide deservingness based on that. I have to say though, if JT, Parvati, or Sandra win this game there's little doubt they'll be contending w/ Hatch in ranking lists for some time to come. I think even Amber or Bob would be propelled to legend status if they won again. |

BUT IF YOU WIN TWICE YOU DID SOMETHING RIGHT! SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE LIKE ROB C COULD NOT EVEN DO ONCE. So again yes. If you win twice you are hands down the best player and YOU are playing this game right.
