jeff scripted his campaign against ryan and executed it throughout the season -- all without proof and bc he was a dumbass and didn't do a website himself.

why didn't he do a website and create a point of access for the public? bc the market was booming and he didn't want to hear from the freaky clients.

after the boom, he became concerned with that retail-type business and only then did he look at the web traffic.

i believe ryan told jeff as much as he knew jeff would "hear" about what he was doing. i don't see jeff having the interest or patience to listen to a tutorial on google and seo. the web stuff and retail work fit ryan and his business more than jeff.

but once the market bottomed out, jeff got desperate and bitchy and obsessed with the past stuff that was basically harmless. totally blew it all out of proportion. of course, that's why he's entertaining. but i do feel bad that he threw away this relationship for no reason. he'll regret it.

i feel more sorry for ryan, though, having to watch jeff rip him apart on national television over a period of weeks. that was scummy of jeff.

of course, jeff is good tv, and i think he's hilarious....but he was wrong and petty here and has hurt himself and his (former) best friend.

i doubt it's the first or last time jeff has done something like this.
