True. But its also hard to look @ someone in the eye when they won't even look at you period, which Jeff wouldn't.
What a mess. Both of them did wrong but ultimately I think Jeff is blowing it up out of proportion. As he said over and over, it never had to get to that level. |

But how could Ryan not have a single thing to apologize for when we've all seen the website in question that acted as a gateway to Brown Design yet the URL
is flippingout.com?

Ryan's argument was that Jeff didn't even have a website to direct the hits too. I don't see what the big deal was about using the shows name to
direct hits, seeing as he's part of the show as it is. Jeff's name is another story, but even then Jeff screaming "identity" theft was a tad
much. I don't think there was some nefarious, evil plot to steal Jeff's business away from him. Capitalizing on it no doubt, but I don't think it
was ever that devious like Jeff is painting it as. And what was the deal with complaining every episode and then not even confronting him on it earlier? And
then pretending to his face like everything was ok?? Isn't this the same guy who installed security cameras in his house last season to spy on his
"tight family." Then again who knows how I'd react in Jeff's place.

I dunno...I find it hard to believe that putting Jeff's business phone number or an email address on the site was a simple oversight. At the very least if
one wasn't available he should have thought to ask over all those dinners he talked about "How should people that visit flippingout.com get in contact
with you, Jeff?"

Yeah if nothing else, Ryan should have had the sense to at least discuss the site with Jeff. Especially knowing how paranoid he can be.

why do you think ryan and jeff didn't talk about the site? i think they did, but jeff didn't care bc it didn't matter at the time.
remember they talked about jefflewis.com and jefflewis.net being taken already? so jeff knew about the domain ryan was buying for him. |

imo...
ryan took advantage. plain and simple. the worst part is that he was less than forthright and then when he got called on it.....he skirted the issue and chalked it up to 'good business'. could brown design achieve the same business status without jeff lewis' name being linked.....or flipping out? i dare not. ryan wouldn't be getting hate mail on the issue if he wasn't shady. flippingout.com .....that takes balls. |

I agree. Flipping Out is really about Jeff. Ryan's name is even the last one mentioned in the starting credits. The show is about Jeff. Period. Not Brown
Designs. Jeff does not work for Brown Designs Using flippingout.com to channel potential customers to Brown Designs is deceitful.
I'm not saying Jeff is an angel. But like I said before he's come a long way with his attitude. He can see when he's in the wrong. And I understand him not talking straight out to Ryan about it for so long cause you always want to believe someone you care deeply for wouldn't deceive you or take advantage of you. And Ryan has known Jeff long enough to understand that. Ryan's automatic defense strategy of saying Jeff is an asshole is what did him in in my eyes. |

Remember when Jeff said he would call Ryan sometimes four or five times a day?
And in the course of those hundreds of calls, Ryan never mentioned the web site, or him paying Google for referrals? This guy is a douche. Nice try, all three of Ryan's friends who have three ID's apiece and flood Sucks with posts in his defense. |
