However, I still think that Whitney was one of the most obnoxious contestants on this show and I have no idea why tptb thought that was appealing. Although there are a lot of people (IRL, not just the "Inter-nets") that were happy to finally see a plus-sized model win and completely ignored her bitchy attitude + terrible photos. Just happy that some 'fatty' won like it changes anything.

I agree, but that makes me even MORE glad that Anya/Katarzyna/Fatima didn't win. To have all that potential and still suck so colossally makes them even LESS deserving than somebody who just lacks potential, but makes the most of what she's got (e.g. this season's Celia).

It means their worse than Whitney in TYRA BANKS' EYES, and we've all seen how well her picks do. Did you watch the show? Anya couldn't speak to save her life. She came off deaf, brain-damaged & stoned, all at the same time. I was embarrassed for her. Fatima was perhaps the worst poser in the history of the show. Honestly, for a woman as beautiful as Fatima to have that many horrible pictures is really shameful. Perhaps Katarzyna didn't "suck so colossally". She was just entirely mediocre and uninteresting (which I grant could be a function of her editing and not anything to do with her...)

If we're comparing it to other ANTM alum, it's easily as good as Jaslene's shitty commercials. If we're comparing it to real models, every single girl in the history of ANTM sucks colossally. Besides, Anya's potential was pretty much ruined by her "makeover" yet she still managed a good portfolio despite that. It's not like she had tons of potential and fell flat. Fatima couldn't pose but could still pull off pictures regardless. Kat wasn't ever bad.

I studied Sign Language and Sign Language Interpreting for 5 years and the first time I heard Jaslene speak I thought she was deaf. Like her or not she went beyond having a heavy accent
