Posts: 2714 04/08/04 05:33 PM AdMiNiStRaToR Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I noticed that this year they've lifted the "5-time" rule so you can keep coming back as long as you keep winning. The guy on today was a 5-day champion going on his sixth day. Has anyone gone longer than 5 days yet?

Apparently they want to ensure intelligent people make it on the show, but dumb it down on TV so people playing along at home don't feel intimidated.

Do tell. You were on the show, right? How does the signalling work? Why does it always seem like there is one person frantically pressing the button on every answer and never "lighting up"? Can you press it any time during when the "answer" is being read or do you have to wait for the split second Alex is done reading? Inquiring minds...

Otherwise, faster readers would have an unfair advantage and Alex would never get to finish reading the answer. Did anyone watch the week with the Washington bigwigs? Who did better? Conservatives or Liberals?

If they buzz in before the light comes on, they are blocked out of buzzing in for the rest of the question. Correct me if I'm wrong.
