Yes, our year, they kept us segregated to the very last moment.

During the S1 Union... they literally had PA's standing between us and in front of us during breaks so we couldn't talk saying, "We want you to save it for the show." It being the excitement and emotion of finally seeing one another.

The question Todd should have asked was "while you were in the pod and hearing the descriptions that you did, what came to mind." He did a better job of it in S1's Union show.

JP's yelling was aired to show how loud he is, how excited he was to meet #7 and to play up the rivalry.

I just remember one more thing to add about the continuity issue for S1 I'm left in the Black Box and "let out" during the Union; Phu left in his pod and he "crawls" out during the Union. Now the pods are fully vacant for the next 9 podmates. Anyone hear going to audition for 3.0?

Since everyone is suffering from Solitary separation, I have two topics that I KNOW will stir some discussion.
First, I must say that I LOVE S1 and S2's casts. Second, I am extremely loyal, but I can be very objective.
Two considerations, S1 gets props, because none of us knew what we were gettin' into. We were brave OR foolhardy, your choice.
S2 gets props for having to endure tougher conditions, but knew what they were gettin' into (except Kimberely and Stephen, but that was their fault/choice). They were also brave OR foolhardy, your choice.

The two topics 1) which season had a stronger cast and 2) how would you rank the strongest pairs of numbers?

For review I have listed the cast by number and their placing. Also check the chart on page 15 of this thread for more specifics.

Here's my answer:

Overall, I believe S1 has a stonger cast. David if he could have not had that "mental fart" could have done really well on the Tests and made it far. Michelle was missing her kids which affected her, but c'mon a split second off a space on the US Olympic Swim Team, Cliff was one stick of chapstick from probably the finals, and you CANNOT discount MARK who lasted EVERY Treatment having never won a Test.

As for the strongest pairs...

Nomii, thanks for the dose of reality. I know in the big scheme of things I'm just a speck. Some would say that I enjoyed my 15 and should go away. Look, I would hope going on a show(Petfinder) with my family would be a fun thing. The concept is great... family wants a pet, experts find them the perfect one. The mood will be heartfelt and not edited like other reality shows which create villains and heroes or other characters.

If "hasbeen" means I seen my better days.... maybe, but reality TV is not my life.

If "famewhore" means liking to be on TV, okay that's true, but who doesn't, but if it means compromising my principals/reputation JUST to be on TV, then definitely not.

So Nomii, if you ever see me walking down the street stop me and say "hi" or not, whatever you want to do. Just know that I'm a nice guy who was fortunate enough to get on a reality show who happens to be a teacher, a father, a guitarist, a singer, a Chinese American, a volleyball player, a basketball player, a football fan and unfortunately by your accusation a "hasbeen famewhore!"

Tigernanama, thanks for having my back. I'm kind of longwinded about my responses. I "cut people down" with one liners, but I only do it in jest with friends I KNOW who won't take it the wrong way.

Lastly, one, you gotta love this site with passionate people who don't hold back! AND two, c'mon people, give me some cred for entering this thread.

Interesting read... warning some explicit language and mainly references Season 2.

Also, it states that Solitary 3.0 will be in the fall, but I have yet to hear that verified anywhere else.
