EW listed this as one of the top (pun unintended) summer shows to look forward to. They even mentioned Ilan's "conspiring to shave another contestant's head out of spite."
I'd LOVE to throw that in his face. "We SAW Elia still with a full head of hair after you guys tried to shave his head." |

I'm watching the season in reruns now and I just want to rip his head off. I really like Elia and Sam. |

I liked Elia until she joined in the Marcel bashing at the end. Sam I always liked even when he was against Marcel, mostly because he wasn't that bad about it. OK mostly because he's hot and partly because he wasn't that bad about it.

I haven't seen the end of the season yet so I'll see what I think of Elia once she joins in the Marcel hate club.
He was a fucking annoying twit though, I commend Elia for tolerating him as long as she did. People like Ilan went way overboard with the hate though. Actually I just finished 10 where Michael got the boot.
I've read about episode 11 though, I'm excited to see it. Also does anyone else hate Gail Simmons? |

MOTHER FUCKER! I try to stay away from spoilers so I can watch the episodes without knowing the winner. Then I went to the main website that has the winner posted everywhere.

Eh, I'm even more convinced that the "incident" was NOT all that. While living in a fraternity house -- same type of group setting, just a few years younger than the Chef F5 -- we teased, wrestled, even held down brothers to do various sophomoric things ... shave chest, tweak eyebrow hairs (ouch), tart up like Mimi on Drew Carey, fart in face, force to look at gross porn. Yeh, quite immature. All were usually alcohol or pledge hazing induced, but they were not that uncommon.
It's "not" assault, just as the Cliff/Marcell incident was not. However, I have no problem with Cliff's booting since it was against rules. I agree that the entire F6 or so of last year's Chef were not too likeable. Marcel was definitely my least fav, but I also loathed Ilan's cockiness. Hoping for better, much better, this season. |

I do agree that the incident was tweaked in editing from who knows what, but I absolutely believe what Cliff did was assault. It was a physical act of aggression against another person, and I do think he should have been booted for it. And I think the others were implicit for egging him on. I think they should have been reprimanded of fined in some way.

Mr. Shirley and I were discussing how the whole head shaving incident probably wouldn't have happened if Michael was still in the house. If it'da come up, Michael would have ridiculed the idiots, in his lazy, casual way, and then suggested they go grab a beer. End of story.
I'm no fan of Heat Miser Wolverine Boy, but Ilan, Sam, Cliff and Elia are forever on my spite list. No respect for any of them. I hope Season 1 kicks Season 2's ass. |

Yeah, I think the head-shaving thing was blown out of proportion. Marcel is definitely a pain in the ass, and Cliff was definitely wrong for antagonizing him like that, but whatever.
I like Sam and Elia, but I don't really care for the rest of them. Quote: OMGYES. She reminds me of those bitchy girls in high school. Always with the smirk on her face. You can tell she was totally one of them. Plus she has beady eyes. I don't trust people with beady eyes. |

Doesn't it bother anyone that the sequence of events that Ilan/Elia/Sam/Cliff laid out was in fact a lie? They didn't shave their heads first and then decide to do his. Elia clealry had a full head of hair when Marcel stormed off to the bathroom.
