Actually, I was wondering when he would get his makeover (i.e., contact lenses instead of glasses) and become the hottie that he clearly is. I assumed this would happen in time for him to take Jessica to the senior prom, so they could both step out of the shadows. I'm glad Whitney is back to playing tennis again, since she didn't have time for boys because tennis was her life, but then she didn't play tennis at all for two years. One of my favorite episodes (weeks?) was when Chad and Ethan and Whitney and Teresa were at the Crane's ski chalet and Teresa and Ethan sang a duet together. But the more exciting part was when Chad and Ethan were sitting on the sofa together before the girls arrived. There was some major homoerotic tension between those two. Do you remember what happened to Orville, the old guy with the parrot statue who knew the secrets of Chad's life? I know Eve ran him over with the car and set fire to his house, but did he die or did he just sort of fade away?

I still have it on tape. One of those classic Passions moments that i just cant record over (Theresa and Julian waking up after their wedding, the prom boat disaster, Gwen taking a bat to Theresa's head). I always think of 2 things from then. One...the pissed off Gwen driving to the chalet, and if you look, she is clearly still in park. And Two: The classic avalanche. I always loved the part where Theresa and Whitney are sitting in the car and they look over and see a huge avalanche coming. The reaction "Oh no! An avalanche!" as they point and remain in the car. The original Ethan and Chad...i totally sensed the homoerotic vibes in them "But Chad...you LOVE Whitney" (raises eyes...points to himself) "And I LOVE Theresa" (raises eyes, points to Chad). Whitney is not in shit for the tennis thing (Kay and Simone drugged her for her match)(I love Kay in a totally nonsexual way). The Reese/Jessica thing is just getting underway. They've been building it up with Jessica for awhile now. Last...Orville. He actually really did die, natural causes I believe. They just kind of left that alone in the storyline. As I recall, he was Chad's only link to his past, and would sing whenever Chad asked him about it. Too bad about his death, but he kind of annoyed me on the show. I'm just not into senile, singing old people. Last thing: Jessie Metcalfe (Miguel) - GAY or STRAIGHT? My vote is gay. Rose tattoo on his hip, far too perfect eyebrows, and cmon. Just look at him. He sends the gaydar readings off the chart. Anyway, later!

It's hard to tell if it's the actor or the character...his relationship with Charity has always seemed a little bit more like a gay best friend kind of thing. And he always used to freak out about sex. Like when Tabitha was talking about Charity needing to have sex with Miguel to come into her full powers, I was thinking there was no way that was ever going to happen. He certainly is nice to look at, in any case, as is Galen Gering. Sheridan walking in on Luis in the shower is another classic moment. Another favorite moment from long ago is when Grace and Sam and Eve and the fire chief are all standing outside Charity's house burning down, and Miguel has rushed inside and they're all like, "All we can do is wait" and Eve is looking longingly at Grace, who is crying and crying and crying and then all of a sudden it starts to rain and they all get so excited. "Oh, it's raining. It's raining." I am very sad that there will apparently be no more Timmy & Tabitha montages. Those were the best.

Sheridan and Grace seem to be the only women to ever have men fight over them. At least since the '70s flashbacks where Sam wanted to kick Julian's ass over Ivy. What would happen if Teresa actually thought about a guy other than Ethan ever? Or for that matter, if she noticed how longingly Whitney looks at her...

If it helps any, a new Crane kid is coming to town next week. Apparently, Theresa becomes a little enamoured with this one too. Basically, his role is shitdisturber. It is weird that practically every guy on the show has 2 women fighting over them. The love triangles are crazy on this show. They always lead to another one. Charity -Miguel Kay Simone -Chad Whitney Theresa -Ethan Gwen Ivy - Sam Grace Liz -TC Eve Beth -Luis Sheridan Seriously though, this could be so disturbing if some little twit took how these woman treat men seriously. I mean, I'm sure they wont try and kill their rivals (ala Kay, which is probably one of the best characters on the show). I mean, what would happen if one of these girls hired some guy to come down and pretend to be the ex of their amnesiac friend! All hell would break loose (I hope the sarcasm was implied enough there). One thing I will always give this show is that they always have the best fights. First week of the show, Tabitha and Grace pounding the hell out of each other. Gwen with the bat at Theresa. Everyone on the show has basically beaten on Julian at one point. The best! On to my speculation. Charity and Miguel are getting married (rolling eyes) later this week or next, along with Sheridan and Antonio, Luis and Beth, and Ethan and Gwen (only a show as ridiculous as this would make a quad wedding). I know Kay causes some trouble...I'm thinking she announces she's pregnant with Miguels kid. Theresa has something up her sleeve against Gwen...I'm thinking possibly that she finds out it was Gwen and Rebecca that exposed her last year to the tabloids, and does the exact same thing back at them for that reason. Sheridan, Luis, Antonio...I have no care what happens to them. That storyline is beyond idiotic now. She wont tell (now blind) Antonio the truth about her and Luis because of her past, due to the fact that the shock will literally kill him. WHO CARES!? He's probably one of the least interesting characters on the show. Nobody in Harmony seems to realize that everytime they're showing up for a group function, something bad happens to them ALL (ie. Prom Boat disaster, The Birds/House being sucked into Hell, The Mine/Meteor heading straight for them, The Avalance, The Engagement party of last year...need i go on?) Man, these people need to get some supplies, lock themselved in their house, and never resurface again. Their lives would be so stress free. Edited to add that i was tired this morning, and don't know what the hell I was talking about with the couples.

I read somewhere that Sam attacks Miguel and tries to force him to marry Kay. Oh yeah, on Christmas day (I think) Tabitha realizes that she's preganant with Julians kid. I completely agree with the Gwen/Ethan thing. I'm dont even think they have any chemistry together, its just to see Theresa miserable...its the best. I'm glad they hired the old Gwen back, she is the best bitch. Apparently Luis and Sheridan elope or something...not sure, and Theresa gets involved with Fox, the new Crane kid. Its kind of funny. Ethan, Julian, Ivy, Theresa, Gwen and Pilar are standing around staring at him saying "Oh, it's you. Hello Fox" and then Theresa with "Who is Fox?" Who is Fox? WHO IS FOX? She's married to his father, is obsessed and was involved with his brother, and is probably the same age as him. In the entire time that she has know Ethan, Julian, Ivy, you would assume at least once his name would be mentioned, or even maybe a picture here or there, but no...Not in Harmony...this IS Passions.

Posts: 30663 (12/24/02 5:31 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	oh jeez, I watched this for the first time today and managed to see two episodes (gotta love christmas) lets see, there are 100 weddings in one week, the first one the guy is already lusting after his ex-flame (teresa), the second one gets interrupted because someone is pregnant with the grooms baby, and looks like for the third "double" wedding, one groom is going to die and the other groom will then be torn between his bride or his dead brothers bride oh, not to mention the dwarfs - whatever the hell that was about yeah, I got to say, if this show only had one or two of these storylines, I'd write it off as a badly written show. This show, of course, seems to go so far beyond bad writing and acting that it basically becomes great, top-rate entertainment I mean, dwarfs? I love it!

I was shocked that we got through last weeks wedding in 1 1/2 episodes, as opposed to the usual 2 months (See Ethan/Theresa Engagement party...or basically any other party EVER on this show). I think todays episode was the crowning moment of this show for me. The look on Charity's face was priceless. "Gosh! Say it isn't true Meeeguel! Meeeeguel! Say it isn't true." Why isnt she dead yet? I guess she's good for a few more incarnations first. The 4 Preggers: I know 3 for sure...Kay, Gwen, and Tabitha. Yes...Tabitha. With Julian (and if you missed the sex scenes, just make note that there were plenty of animals involved) I'm thinking the fourth one will end up being Beth or Whitney. Liquid - I LOVE Fox already. He is actually a really good actor. He plays the smarmy bastard roll perfectly. Its the guys first acting job ever too. And...to top it off...he's HOT! I want to see him and Kay plot together...possibly killing Theresa and Charity in the process. Ideal? Yes. Plausable? Who the hell knows with a show where everyone gets pregnant (and experiences morning sickness) 6 months after they have sex!?!

I did miss those scenes (which is most likely a good thing!) And I agree, Charity's reaction was priceless. Finally everything isn't going perfectly for Miss Sweetie. I can feel Kay's role really well, in the Kay/Grace scenes. Kay is absolutely right, the only time Grace even thinks about her is when something goes wrong. Fox? He's a major hottie! And a great actor, too. It's time there was another eligible bachelor on this show, too!

It's hilarious to watch but I usually only watch the last half hour when I get back from school (it's on at 3:30 on Global TV). I have been catching up lately though since I'm off from school until early January. Tabitha and Julian? Thank God I didn't see that episode! Kylie, you're not the only one. I can't stand Charity. Kay all the way. Miguel may be wishy-washy but damn, he's hot.
