Bianca first showed up at the very end of Friday's show, lying in the rubble. It was apparently her at the door earlier, when Kendall opened the door and
said, What are you doing here? And today, Zach pulls her out and she is very pregnant, and it's Zach's baby. He must've donated some sperm at some
time. Actually, from today's show, it sounds like he made an off-screen visit to Paris to visit Bianca and met her girlfriend, Reese, and it sounds like he
decided to be the father of the baby then, by artificial insemination. But sounds like he didn't know if it took, and chastised Bianca today for not
telling him (she wanted to wait till she was sure the pregnancy would work out). And somehow, it sounds like Kendall knew nothing of any of this, although I
guess time will tell. The tornado stuff started last Thursday, and the show has been great ever since, IMO. Opal had been predicting dire warnings for the past
three weeks or so, though.

to remember as today is my daughter's birthday as well.

Well... tornadoes sweep through Pine Valley, but the big reveal is about A BABY!? Mother fuck! Don't the writers of this show know how to put together a
storyline without throwing another goddamned baby into the mix?
They should rename it "All My Babies." Who for a moment believes Zach would have donated his sperm to Bianca without first telling Kendall? Yeah... I thought not. But I'm sure it'll make for plenty of contrived conflict. And how long can it take one woman to die of internal injuries? I never accepted the recast of Babe, and her prolonged expiration is just pushing the limits of tolerance. What a disappointment this whole story has been. |

Babe's death thing seems really pathetic. I mean, I only watched yesterday, and my sister was telling me she has internal bleeding. Why can't they
rescue her? I am really confused as to why it is impossible to save her life.

Well, they didn't make me cry all week until today. When Krystal picked dead Babe up off the floor, I lost it. But then, it has only been two months since
my own mother passed away. On a soap board I go to there's an RN and she said what killed Babe is a lot more common than you think. They open someone up
and there is just too much internal damage to be fixed and they close them up and they eventually die. I'm skeptical myself, but that's what she said.
However, I feel nothing for David. And to blame JR, stupid.
We won't know Kendall's feelings till she wakes up. A couple of months, probably. The writers can always write that she's fine with Zach being the dad of Bianca's baby. In fact, they could even have it where she suggested it. I don't think they will, but they could. Heck, they can write it anyway they want. Or it could be the end of Zach and Kendall's marriage. |

Rebecca Budig/Greenlee has confirmed she is leaving the show when her contract is up in January. They said she will air till early spring. Wonder how
they'll write her out? Or another recast? Guess time will tell.

In order to get to that new contract, however, Minshew will be leaving the ABC soap. How long will she be gone? A few months, but there's a bit of a catch. Minshew joined AMC in 2002. Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart) and ABC executives have come to terms on a deal that will keep the popular actress in Pine Valley for some time to come. As part of the new contract, however, Minshew will be leaving All My Children for most of remainder of 2008. Fear not, though. The actress will be back and some behind-the-scenes planning will make sure that fans don't go too long without seeing their favorite heroine.  As part of the
contract deal, Minshew requested that she be given two months off from All My Children. As previously reported, Minshew and fiance, Richie Herschenfeld, are
scheduled to get married on October 26. The break will allow the actress to take a honeymoon, enjoy the newly married life, and get some much needed rest and
relaxation after having been front-and-center on the ABC soap for as long as anyone can remember.
To accommodate Minshew's time off, her character will be seriously injured in All My Children's upcoming tornado storyline. The injuries Kendall sustains in the wicked weather will leave her comatose. The show has been pre-taping scenes out of their normal sequence so that Minshew will not be off-screen for her entire two-month hiatus. In August, soapcentral.com first reported on the back-and-forth negotiations between Minshew and ABC. Fans feared that All My Children's shrinking budget might make it hard for the show to re-sign Minshew. "My main priority is a better schedule and a little vacation time to enjoy my soon-to-be husband. That is it! I am doing just fine and have never made an issue about money," Minshew assured fans in a posting on her official fan site. "AMC is being good to me and trying to work out my schedule and honeymoon vacation. That is it. These things take time." To fill the void left by Kendall's coma, All My Children has arranged for Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery) to return to the show -- for four months. For more on Riegel's return, click here. |

I'm glad they are giving Kendall a break. Now if only they can add Ryan to that list. EDT: Or better yet, have Crazy Annie knock him over the head with a lead pipe.

So let me get this straight, Rebecca Budig comes back for what...18 months?
ABC makes a big deal about it and they don't sign her to a longer contract? And Zach being the father of Bianca's baby? Insane. First time seeing the character of David. Y & R hasn't been the same since Vincent I. left. |

Ugh, not enjoying David as usual. I have never liked him much. I was surprised they showed Babe in her coffin. What's with the long time between the
funeral service and the burial? They sure don't do that here. Here they have the funeral service, then immediately take them to the cemetary and bury them.
Miranda is such a cutie! That baby is pretty too. Love Bianca being back. |

I disagree. I'm really glad David is back. I think he stirs the potty and he'll make for interesting storylines. I feel he was wasted on Y&R which
I also watch.
His niche is his role on AMC. He can express anger, pain, sadness better than any character on that show. I also love that Bianca can 'embrace' David due to her bond with Babe. So, if Greenlee leaves, Babe is dead, Annie is out of Fusion and Kendell in a coma...when Erica takes Fusion over 'who's she going to boss around'.... Amanda? |

left town, and he seems a littley whiney now.
