JR is looking so good these days, you can hardly blame Amanda for giving in and going with him. It's nice to see Erica and Adam interact. They have both been on the show for a long time. Erica since the beginning. So Spike is deaf. Are we going to see everybody doing the hand signs? Btw, anyone catch Josh/Colin on page 46 of the Kohl's advertising insert in Sunday's newspaper. Three pictures of Josh looking good.

Yeah, it's a different kid playing Spike. Actually, 3 new kids, triplets. There's been speculation that maybe one or all three are deaf in real life,
but I haven't heard that. The guy playing Annie's dad is really deaf.

The last child that played spike was a girl and they didn't want to cut the hair. The old Spike was better. I'm so tired of the hospital story line
and Fridays show was creepy. Ryan needs to learn how to act. My wish is Spike parents turn out to be Zach and Greenlee. Than Ryan, Annie and Emma can leave
town.

It bothers me the way they are reacting to his deafness. I can think of much worse things happening (cancer, for example) that someone would carry on to the level that they are about a perfectly healthy kid who happens to be deaf. I'd much rather see them deal with it gracefully. I also don't like how greenlee is being blamed for the premature delivery. Kendall was having pains for how long before she decided to finally stop and go to the hospital? Maybe if they had turned around as soon as she felt something was wrong, it wouldn't have happened at all. |

No. They had the labor stopped until she saw spike or something I think.
And the deaf thing and Kendall's not accepting it is really like her reflecting being Erica's daughter. Remember how erica would not accept that bianca was gay because it was to her an imperfection? Same thing. So in that sense it's slightly interesting, but the rest of the morons running around like idiots especially annie, is retarded. |

Well, today was Di's last day. Can't say as I will miss her.
I found out that none of the triplets playing Spike is deaf. It's the editing or something that makes it look like he doesn't hear anything. |

I read in a soap mag that Di's last day will be Sept. 19, so don't know what the deal is there. Today was supposed to have been Jamie's last day,
but he wasn't on.
Kendall is losing her mind. She needs to sleep, and as the old Greenlee said, "Kendall, eat a cookie." Hell, she needs to eat a whole box of them. |

I just wandered over here from the Big Brother board (didn't know ya'll were here before!). After going back a couple of pages, most of the comments
seem pretty negative/disappointed in storylines and acting. I've been watching AMC for several years now and I keep wondering to myself why I keep watching
the show when I, too, sometimes feel like storylines suck and the acting can be average at best. It almost feels like that massive 20 car pileup on the freeway
that you just can't stop staring at. Does anyone have the same thoughts, and if so, what are your reasons to keep watching? For me, I'm holding out for
a little while longer to see where the new writers take the show (allowing them a grace period to tie up old storylines left over from the McTavish era).

Hi Jayhawke! AMC is my least favorite of all the soaps (I'm an ABC girl but used to watch Santa Barbara). I'm holding out for Leo to come back and Tad to find Kate. Neither one will happen anytime soon so I just glance. I usually catch up on Pine Valley by reading here. |

Well, this is the Sucks board, so people tend to be more negative. I've been watching AMC almost since the beginning, but really got into it during the
Greg and Jenny days. Pretty much been watching ever since. Can't imagine not watching it. It's the only soap I watch. I can almost always find
something to like about it. Even when it's having its sucky moments.
Oh, and I think something will happen with the Tad/Kate story with Julia returning next Friday. Not right away, of course, but soon.

I had all 5 episodes on my DVR this week and I just deleted them all without even trying to watch, because the show has been completely unbearable to watch.
Aren't you all SICK of Kendall/Zack/Ryan/Greenlee/Annie/Spike or any other combination of those people?! Fu** they are all so annoying! Write them all off,
I wouldn't care anymore.
Oh and did anything ever happen with the "Zack is taking over Chandler Entreprises" storyline, or did it just kinda fade away with no real conclusion? |

I DVR the episodes, too. And there are many weeks I delete without watching or just jump through an episode to get an idea of what's happening. I
haven't seen anything significant on the Zach/Chandler Enterprises storyline in a while, either. Heck, I can't even figure out what JR is doing these
days, since he gave his shares to Adam. Is he unemployed? It looks like they may be setting him up to become Ava's manager or something?

 Suckage update: Jamie, is leaving at the end of August and
'Babe' (the actress is likely leaving at the end of December but they plan to recast her character. Jamie will not be recast. Note: there have been
'9' Jamies on AMC (that's very sad).
There will be two new HUNKS added to the show. Wes and ??? .. one will be involved with Adam's daughter and asshole (Jackson) kid. The other will 'for a while' be courting Babe. ......................and that's the suckage....also: the new writers say there will be a major storyline come, Autumn and it will create issues for 'many' of the characters.. (wow, stunning news!)

I haven't watched this show in about a year except for maybe 2-3 times.
My new impressions: Erica and Jack still spark up the screen when together, Fat Tad goading whats-his-name into line dancing in flipflops is still adorable, autistic girl playing sexy girl isn't as sexy as I'd thought- just whorish, Ryan must have put on some weight- his eyes aren't hollowed out like they used to be- he is hot!, Annie and Newgreenlee should both take a nice ride on Crystal Lake on a dynamite laden jetski- they suck and are horrible to look at!, Kendall is till the ghostly, skeletal, simpering, stiff haired bad actress she always was. Looks like I haven't missed much. |

More updates/some spec. by the Canuck Soap Queen: she says that Julia (who has or is returning shortly) will either by paired with Josh or 'Tad'. They do not plan to drop the Kate storyline and figure it will be 'the Christmas MIRACLE!' (big surprise) also, that Adam/K will get back together with her child being Adam's, which most of you had already figured out. Viewers (who write in to the AMC writers) do not like what they are doing with Ava. I guess they find her to over the top. For some reason there are people out there who just LURVE Ryan/Kendell/Zach/Annie..but, I'm not getting that. I agree with above posters who are sick to death of them. (God I miss Jenny/Greg and a dash of Opal with Palmer....'those days')
