You lock this thread...the thread where you're supposed to link when a new show thread is started. So obviously, if people want to start a new thread about a show, they either shouldn't do it (yeah, right) or start a thread anyway because no one can now play by your rules because you've locked the Show Index thread.

So now you decide to LOCK every such thread?

Nice. Real nice. As if WE caused the meltdown.

As my dad used to say, "If I were doing it, BUT I'M NOT, I would have done one of two things - (1) I'm the Admin....I decided to lock the new show thread, so since I am running the goddamn forum, I'd have taken the time to update the index myself because THAT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY SINCE I LOCKED THE DAMN THREAD AND I AM THE ADMIN HERE, or (2) I'd have PM'd the people who created the new threads and given them 4 days or so to create an index post or else the thread would have been locked.

But to arbitrarily lock a thread because now you decide to play by your old rules?

And you wonder why they hate this forum over in OT so much that they start their own TV show threads.
