The premiere episode was the highest rated comedy debut in Showtime history.
Of course having the Weeds premiere as a lead-in probably had a lot to do with it. Still great news, though. |

I was disappointed in two things. 1) that it was only a half hour and 2) that all the humor in the previews were ALL in the first show. It was still great.
Can anyone answer who the 16 yr old was that he did? I know her from somewhere!

middle-aged writer - check unattractive but put together ex - check annoying plot driving kid - check pop-culture references - check Congradulations showtime you just re-made Dream On, HBO's early 90's sex show. I mean all they did was make the guy a cynical mew yorker in California where Dream On was an idealistic hippie in New York. |

This show was fucking hilarious last night.
Having it follow Weeds is perfect timing. They compliment each other. SO glad Showtime is around. Now, Dexter coming back soon too? Fantastic! |

The puking sex scene was one of the craziest things I've seen in a long time. Although I don't quite get the attraction that all the chicks have for him--seems kind of broken down and sleazy to me. |

Love the rip offs, first I hated them(Dream On) but seeing Lovely and Amazing and now Secretary my only regret is we know season 2 will have zero actual sex.
I know this show has taught me the importance of sucking hard and cradling the balls. |
