By far, the worst outfit of the night was Joe's. How he survived elimination with crap tailoring, hideous color scheme, and piss poor design is beyond me. He seriously get way more credit than he's worth. I've said it repeatedly already, but he's bargain Filene's basement, TJ Max, Forever 21 kind of a designer. He brings no new or interesting ideas to the runway. And his bitchy, overconfident behavior last night needs more than just a near auf humbling. He needs to be eliminated because he actually thinks he can compete with the likes of Leanne and Korto.

I have to admit, again, I was surprised that Korto finished in the top three. She definitely has a very consistent vision. I'm not sure how remarkably different it is to stand out, but by virtue of being well designed and executed she's light years away from almost all her competition.

My pick to win is still Leanne. Her designs are modern and retro with beautiful color schemes that would work on almost any woman. She so far has the most distinct point of view of the bunch. However, I'm afraid of what she might come up with on her own without the parameters of a challenge. She reminds me of Michael Knight a little. The area where Korto outpaces her is having a very focused vision to her designs. Even with all the different challenges, Korto's outfit build a better narrative than Leanne's. But Leanne is still my pick to win this if she gets out of her head.

Terri is turning out to be a one trick pony. However, I still consider her a wild card. She's been midling these last few challenges, but I can't count her out. I think as the competition intensifies she'll find her groove once again.

Kenley's crying jags last night reminded me of last season's Ricki. Her dress was okay. She was only voted in after Korto for dramatic effect. There was no way her simple dress was on the same level as Leanne's or Korto's complete looks. And I also found her addition of the lace to be kind of a rip off the Fall 2008 Prada line and a semi-departure from her own style. In fact, I thought the dress she was wearing infinitely more interesting in design than the one she put down the runway.

Jerrel continues to fascinate me with his use of different textures, however, this time it fell kind of flat. I see him as the only male designer left worthy of being in the final four/three.

Blayne and Suede aren't even entertaining anymore. My girlfriend did like the pants that Blayne created. I thought they made the model look huge. But Suede's look was a miss from top to bottom. The only thing that saved him was that Joe and Stella looked cheap. It surprised me that Stella went home because even though her look was all wrong it didn't look as cheap as Joe's. Usually the judges let design and construction slide, but there's nothing they hate more than an outfit that looks cheap and tacky. Joe won that title last night, hands down.
