I thought the show was good! It definitely has the potential to be great. Last night was an "introduction" episode, so nothing major could happen really. The compound was super creepy. I can't wait to see more of it!!!

Any nudity in this one? If not I don't think I'll bother.

There was a lot of Bill Paxton nudity. Everyone else, not so much.

I really enjoyed it, especially the stuff at the compound. It's great seeing Susan's drunk mom from Seinfeld back on TV. That child bride of the old man was disgusting.
I think it has a lot of potential. |

I liked it. With that many characters to introduce of course it took a while for the episode to pick up steam, but by the end of the hour I was hooked.

This first episode was somewhat meh to me, but I see potential. I can't wait until one of the wives goes ballistic on the other two.

The child bride of the old guy was Daveigh Chase, better known as Samara in the Ring movies.
I'm loving Amanda Seyfried (Mean Girls and Veronica Mars) as the polygamist daughter, and Tina Majorino as her fast food co-worker. |

I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, considering all the rave reviews surrounding it.
The wives really do make the show, particularly the one with the shopping problem. Sevigny is a great actress and it shows. Paxton is blah, but he always has been. I suppose that was the point of his character? Very bland, everyman with the big secret of having three wives and the non-stop sex life that comes with it. Nice. |

Quote: Big agreeance. And it's nice to see Samara...alive. I watched it again, and I love the way that they won't curse and use the substitutes (darn, dang, and the infamous "oh my heck.") Like they're OK with their "lifestyle," but it would be awful to say damn. All except for wife #3 who has a potty mouth. Interesting. Sevigny (still) blows. |

I think everyone here was thinking of the same former Survivor when that was spoken |

Watched the show, thought it was interesting.
I will stick with it. The second wife, Nicki, is pure evil! lol That compound is creepy to the max. Susan's drunk mother is great! lol |

Just when I thought I couldn't hate Chloe Sevigny (AND her character on this show) more......
And now I hate wife #3, too. Whiny little bitch. I don't get the storyline with the teenage boys? And I hate how I can't tell them apart--bad casting? Too much bare Paxton ass again. |

Yeah, I was kind of vibing on that in the bedroom scene at the beginning, but I thought Bill Paxton's son was the one in the front seat of the car...like I said, couldn't tell them apart.

Quote: The son was in the back seat getting frustrated with his friend in the front seat. Paxton son is the blond while the friend (better looking one my opinion) have the tight curls. |

Bill Paxton's son was in the front seat. Due to the resemblance of the actors, I thought maybe they were supposed to be cousins, but didn't want to try to imagine what the writers were suggesting.

Well whoever either one of the were, it was totally skeevy the way that wife #3 was rubbin all up on him at breakfast. Even though he's probably closer to her age.
