That was the fugly chick the hot chick who could shapeshift switched to (cause the hot chick found a new show) for the second season premiere before Sylar
killed her.
I think. |

Howdy, Scree.
With the inviso text & the Spoiler +, I don't think we need a Heroes Spoiler thread, now. I could be wrong. Btw, hot Candice aka Missy Peregrym is a guest at Wizard World's Chicago con in July. I wonder how many times she'll get asked "why did you leave Heroes?" |

Yep. That looks like Sylar in front of her there.

Maybe this season we'll get to see Sylar turn into hot Candice.

From the Hollywood Reporter
NBC announced its fall series premiere dates including a three-hour event for the return of "Heroes" and an earlier-than-expected premiere for new reality competition series "America's Toughest Jobs." Following the conclusion of its August presentation of the Summer Olympics from Beijing, NBC will roll out the bulk of its series during the traditional September premiere week or later. Up first is unscripted series "Toughest Jobs," which has been moved from a previously announced launch date of summer 2009 to premiere on Sept. 12. "Jobs" will air on Friday nights at 8 p.m. New comedy "Kath & Kim" has been shifted from a previously planned spot following "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesdays and will instead join the Thursday night comedy block beginning Oct. 9. "Kim" will air at 9:30, gaining a lead-in from "The Office." Other new series premieres include "Knight Rider" (Sept. 24), "My Own Worst Enemy" (Sept. 29) and "Crusoe" (Oct. 17). "Heroes" -- the highest-rated fall show to not resume its run this spring after the writers strike -- will premiere its third season Sept. 22. Here's the 2008-09 fall network schedules. Below are the newly announced NBC premiere dates. Friday, Sept. 12 "America's Toughest Jobs," series premiere (8-10 p.m.); returns on Sept. 19 (8-9 p.m.) for five weeks, then resumes from 9-10 p.m. on Oct. 24 Monday, Sept. 22 "Heroes" clip show (8-9 p.m.); season premiere (9-11 p.m.) Tuesday, Sept. 23 "Law & Order: SVU" (10-11 p.m.) Wednesday, Sept. 24 "Knight Rider" (8-9 p.m.) "Lipstick Jungle (10-11 p.m.) Thursday, Sept. 25 "My Name Is Earl" -- one-hour premiere (8-9 p.m.) "The Office" -- one-hour premiere (9-10 p.m.) "ER" (10-11 p.m.) Monday, Sept. 29 "Chuck" (8-9 p.m.) "My Own Worst Enemy" (10-11 p.m.) Friday, Oct. 3 "Life" (10-11 p.m.) Thursday, Oct. 9 "Kath & Kim" (9:30-10 p.m.) Friday, Oct. 17 "Crusoe" two-hour premiere (8-10 p.m.) Thursday, Oct. 30 "30 Rock" (8:30-9 p.m.) |

I'm new to Heroes. I've just finished season 2 yesterday. Hahahaha
I have a big feeling that the fate of the world will once again be on Peter Petrelli's hand... literally since he kinda absorbed the virus thingy. |

Here's some new info on season three!!

Yay to both of those spoilers!
Btw is anyone else worried/thinking that Heroes is going to majorly tank this season? I dunno if it'll be because of the like 17 months off the air or the shitty second season or both, but pretty much everyone I know who used to watch the show is either "meh" about it coming back, or straight up doesn't plan on watching it. Anyone else's friends the same? Hopefully it doesn't happen, I'm just sorta scared it will. |

NeroRules |

The reason this show is so meh now is that the writing was absolutely horrendous last season. I mean Candice's character was turned into an absolute retard, or better yet all their characters were turned into retards. Alejandro knowingly confronting a serial killer, when his only power was like getting rid of a virus; Candice trying to cut a deal with Sylar, when she probably knew that he was crazy and dangerous; Claire testing her powers at her school when she should probably just keep all that to herself to prevent a future Sylar incident. There were probably more but I just can't remember them. Their actions just didn't make any sense if they had an IQ above that of a cucumber or something. Did they ever explain why Sylar was able to use his powers against Eden in Primatech the first season? If not, then damn, it was even getting bad the first season, and it'll probably look like they'll keep that Irish girl in the future without any explanation as to what happened to her. |

Uhm, Sylar was able to use his powers on Eden because the Haitian always came with Noah when he visited Sylar in the cell, Eden came w/o the Haitian.
|
|||
NeroRules |

But then why did Eden go there in the first place? She seemed pretty sure she wouldn't be killed without the Haitian. And then the doctor a couple of
episodes later, running tests on Sylar, sedated him without the Haitian either. Why do that after seeing what happened to Eden a few episodes earlier? Also,
why hold Sylar in a cell when he could just escape at any time? I mean, I'm pretty sure the Haitian couldn't be by Sylar's cell 24/7. Shitty
writing.
|
|||
GrenadeJumper85 |
|||
|
Because the cell was locked, that's why Sylar couldn't get out in the first place. If you notice, whenever they went into the cell, they had to put in
a code to unlock the cell.
Eden went in by herself because she thought her powers alone were enough to take Sylar out, which isn't that far off when she can make you do whatever she tells you to. As for the doctor, they took a risk and made an assumption that Sylar already sedated enough so that he wouldn't attack doctor. A fatal error on their part. |

It depends on Eden's power. I think she thought it could work but he had enough of his abilities back to stop her.

Yeah without the Haitian around Sylar was able to figure out how Eden's power worked, he seemed able to resist her a bit right after he was escaping from
the highschool in the first place.
But Nero does make a good point about Irish girl trapped in the future they're trying to prevent from happening. Someone please tell the writers, time travel is over their heads. |

I imagine that future-Hiro (version 2!) could bring back the Irish gal.

Caitlyn, the Irish girl, doesn't exist anymore.
Peter destroyed the virus, so that future and everyone else in it, don't exist anymore.

Like when they saved the cheerleader, yet we still ended up going into that non-existent future, eh?
