He approached them. He apologizes if he lied about that. Turns out he didn't even say that. Barbara and Whoopie say they didn't make arrangements for reserved seats and a police escort and reassert that Beck lied and didn't do his research as an "investigative reporter". Research is done and both Amtrack and ABC confirm that they arranged reserve seating and police escort for Babs and Whoops.
