What I would like is a true separation of church and state. Religion and politics should not mix.



I'm watching the show now, Seagay. So far they've been talking about their week off.

Joy: too much coverage...blah blah blah...Sherrie: he broke racial barriers...blah blah blah....Whoopi: I knew Michael and he would never, EVER hurt a child because he IS a child...he never grew up cuz he was always performing. What a load of bullshit! That's just so stupid. Lizzie was pretty much a lame duck on this one.

Sanford next.


Whoopi: Says Sanford says the other woman is his soul mate, but wants to make it work with his wife.
Sherri: But what about his wife and two kids? Doesn't like that he's using Bible references to explain why he's not resigning.
Joy: He could be Governor of Alaska! (she's chomping at the bit to talk about Palin I gather)
Lizzie: Today is her 7 year anniversary and she lost her engagement ring. Not only did he break her heart, he broke the heart of every one of his kids.
Joy: He broke the heart of the Republican party, cuz they were looking at him...
Lizzie: THIS Republican was not looking at him!
Sherrie: Who were you looking at?
Lizzie: I recently invested in a pair of binoculars
Whoopi: Can you see Alaska in those binoculars?

Whoopi reads Palin's statement.

Lizzie: We've seen this before. Even with our president now. I would like more specifics....some people find their calling is for something more, and if she feels that way I respect it.
Sherrie: As a woman who says she's putting her family first, I respect it. But nobody has been through more than Hillary Clinton.
Lizzie: Were Hillary's children being attacked?

Whoopi: YOU ARE NOT KOBE BRYANT! YOU ARE THE GOVERNOR OF ALASKA!
Sherrie: When you are in the game you don't get to take yourself out. You wait until the coach says you can come out.
APPLAUSE
Lizzie: She wasn't talking about taking herself out. She's passing the ball.

Joy: Maybe she wants to make some money. She's got $500,000 in legal bills. And is under investigation.
Lizzie: None of the accusations about her are true and there is no indictment going on.
Joy: Not yet. She has a multi-million dollar book deal that she cannot accept while she's in office.
Lizzie: And she has a son with special needs...
Me: BARF!
Lizze:...and that kid needs special treatment for a long time so she's probably thinking of that...
Whoopi: MAYBE SHE'S JUST TIRED OF ALL THE (wants to say BS! but stops). There may be more to it, but you know what, if you need to go, then go...I'll see you when you get back.

Whoopi: Bernie Madoff gets 150 years.
Joy: The FCC was asleep on the job and those people got away with his. Bernie is the symbol of the hate and he's paying.
Whoopi: blah blah blah
Joy: Don't vote for any incumbants, get them out.
Whoopi: Ruth Madoff is left with $2.5 million in cash.
Audience: AWWWWWWWWWWE!
Joy: I think she should invest it with Bernie Madoff.
Sherri: Why does she get to keep it?
Whoopi: Maybe it's hers. blah blah blah
Joy: She knew! blah blah blah. I don't want to blame the victims but if you are getting 12% and everyone else isn't...
Sherri: They were given statements.
Lizzie: They were paying taxes on those earnings.
Joy: Bernie, the FCC and Ruth were all in it together
Whoopi: Who is going to punish them? Blah blah blah.

Blah blah blah. They are all pretty much in agreement that it's fucked.
