Corey Haim....used to be a repulsive fat meth slob, I saw whatever doc he was on, when he was that way. He looks cleaned up and hot now. Outside of this series, is he working now? He could have had a good career going if he had kept working...even if it was doing bit parts.

Holy shit. It took ten minutes for this show to make Cory Haim appear to be the most arrogant, obnoxious, rude, self-centered person in America (yep, worse than Paris). I'm done with this show already, I'd rather watch a web cam aimed at my cat's litterbox 24 hours a day.

I'm hoping for Feldman's sake that Suzie's Drama Queen-ness and need to establish herself as the center of her husband's life are the "scripted" parts. Only saw a little bit of this show tonight. Are they really making a Lost Boys sequel almost 20 years later? I love the LB movie. So does my daughter. Loved the "death by stereo" comment.

It was kinda funny and sad at the same time that only the three "boys" out of the entire cast showed up at that anniversary thing.
The Coreys are so delusional by thinking The Lost Boys was *their* movie, when it wasn't even about them...do they realize the "boys" in the title refers to those who became vampires.....Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Billy Wirth, Alex Winter. All they had to do was take a good look a the movie poster that's plastered across the wall in every room. The wife, Susie, is almost as annoying as Corey Haim. I'm sick of looking at her fake boobs already. |

My verdict is still out. Even though Haim's personality is grating, I have to agree with him that there is an unnatural embilical cord. However, Feldman had probably already been approached for the sequel and turned it down, so his flaking wasn't so much to stay with his wife as it was that he just didn't see the point.
I will keep watching only because I am addicted to watching flailing recovering addicts. |

I feel like it is kind or scripted for Haim to be the obnoxious house guest and Corey to be the sensible clean personal guy. I mean I watched the first surreal life and Feldman was a complete tool, no one could stand the guy at all. This show makes him look like a descent guy, and I am calling bullshit on that, no way he can turn into being less of an ego centric asshole in three years.

Don't forget "Dream A Little Dream" kids my age at the time where peeing themselves over that movie. I was too young to go see it in the movie theatre, and when it came out on VHS my mom still wouldn't let me watch it.
My favorite corey movie is Goonies-despite the fact only one corey was present My favorite other corey movie Lucas- too much good shit in that movie. The Coreys did ok on their own. |

I agree that Feldman came off smelling like a rose, and it's probably true that the show is scripted that way. I always thought Haim was the cute one, but I found him very annoying and tweaker-ish. However, that may be the story arc they're creating: watch Haim go from loser, to lovable loser, to guy you're totally rooting for YAY!
I was flipping back and forth between this show and Scott Baio's vehicle on VH1. Busy night, eh? |
