I saw a couple of episodes way back when it started. LOVE Nicole deBoer - is she even still on the show?

Yes, she plays Sarah - the leading female character.

I was shocked. I would have preferred the Sarah character to die, can't stand her. I loved Walt as a character and sidekick.

Walt DIED? :sobs
I haven't seen this in forever. My husband and I used to watch it when it came on Sunday nights.... but then it took a break, is it still on Sunday's? |

Yep. First new episode was this past Sunday. He died in a lame way, too.

They also changed the kid, Johnny's son. I'm thinking they are paving the way for Sarah and John to get back together, which I'm not for. He'll play dad to Walt's kid now. I think it's supposed to be a girl. Walt was the second best thing about the show, <tear> so I wish they hadn't taken that route.
But, the future with Stilson has changed and no more apocolypse. It hit me briefly that they may try to pair him with Sarah, thus avoiding the future John kept seeing. |

His buddy is moving to a new job...maybe it's D.C. They could all leave the area and really change the show up. Walt's gone, the chuch is gone...and they're all rich as heck!

New location wouldn't be a bad idea. DC - That would push more for a Stilson/Sarah match up too. hmmmmm

Wow, did tonites episode ever suck.
I don't expect the writers to be too science savvy, but geez...... The show is turning into a cartoon |

Quote: I agree with you on this. I'm still feeling a move coming. Sarah commented several times about being uncomfortable with people staring and talking. Poor Walt is being blamed for something...bet it had to do with that secret meeting. The way Johnny saved the day, I can see Stilson setting him up in a private office adjacent from his...to cover his ass when necessary and to "help" people. D.C. would be a good Dead Zone setting in my opinion. Once they clear Walt's name though... |

I do not want a Stilson/Sara hookup. That would be soooo nasty. I miss Walt and Bruce.
I think it was cheap to conclude the "end of the world" storyline the way they did. I wonder if Stilson's future can still change back. The space shuttle storyline was really lame. I guess you have to expect a miss once in awhile. I'm wondering if Walt is really dead. I kind of expect them to have him come back someway. |

I wish there was a bring back Walt storyline and that he's not really dead, but alas, I think he is. Unless they begin experimenting with time travel and alternate realities, I don't think we'll see Walt other than in flashbacks or visions. Yes, they have to clear Walt's good name. And having Johnny as Stillson's adviser, hmmm never considered that, but I like it.
And I don't want to see Sara, Stillson hook up either, but I just have this feeling. She's the one who changes him and ergo, no armageddon. And just as a side note: For Anthony Michael Hall to have been the biggest geek in the 80's, didn't he grow up yummy? |

Guess what?
Satellites don't have blinking lights that can send morse code messages. Easily the worst written Dead Zone ever, so lame, I don't know if I can even watch this dreck much further. |

Last night was probably the worst ever! JJ goes to the circus and has a bonding psychic moment with dear old dad. If the writers keep up this crapfest, they might as well have Johnny have a vision of the show "jumping the shark".

Quote: Yes, he sure did... but this season so far has just been a big yawn. I used to like this show, but now it just seems like everyone is just phoning it in |

Re: THE DEAD ZONE (on USA) | ||

This season is horrible. Killing of Walt, moving Bruce, and taking the cheap way out on the Stillson storyline has crippled this show. I don't if it's new writers or what but this show has turned to crap in a big way.

It has lost it's first two season appeal. I'm still hanging in there though b/c I've become attached to it.
