I kinda think that joel was so busy with his standup that he couldnt get back in time to do a taping of the soup. I may be wrong but who knows.

Web Soup is lame sat thru the first minute of it and changed the channel as soon as he did that weird hand thing. <///////////3Web Soup<--Unwatchable. Hey, E! Get your shit together. |

We tried to watch it, as Friday night 10 pm is traditional Soup night, but got bored 10 minutes in.

They should have aired The Dish instead if they were going to preempt The Soup. I think they started airing The Dish on E recently. It used to (still?) airs on
The Style Network. It's not as great as The Soup but it's gotten much better.

I always grab my throat when I see Chris talk. His huge adam's apple freaks me out.

When The Dish started, its episodes were a lot like episodes of Web Soup in that its early episodes were difficult to get through/watch. With time, Web Soup,
like The Dish, will get better. Web Soup has great moments and great clips; this Friday's episode started off with a weak clip and failed to capture any
momentum. Chris Hardwick, who is a regular on both G4's Attack of the Show and who also sits in from time to time on the round table on Chelsea Handler, is
a funny guy. You can tell that he's somewhat nervous and somewhat uncomfortable hosting, but hopefully in time he'll gain what he's missing. This
show will hopefully be given time to get better.

I like Chris Hardwick, but to me, watching Web Soup is a little too much like watching America's Funniest Home Videos.
Meanwhile, I really missed Joel and Co.'s take on the I'm a Celebrity finale and Real World premiere this week. Not to mention Jon & Kate. Because I refuse to mention them. |

I just watched Tosh.0 and I have to say that its like 80x better than web soup and I love how Daniel Tosh does not try to act like Joel and has tried to make
his own identity instead of falling into the Joel mold that so man have tried and failed before.

Yeah, I was unimpressed by The :Dish the first I saw it, but after a few weeks Danielle got a lot better and so did the show.

I was staying out of this thread because I thought my DVR skipped it. I'm glad to hear I didn't miss it.

You know, CA changed/passed laws in terms of prosecuting potential pedophiles due to the loopholes discovered in MJ's first allegations of pedophilia. Did that stop him from his bad behavior? No; years later, we get to see what a sick man he became when he wore pajamas on the day one of his accusers was set to testify against him. I'm sure Joel will have some passing barb/input on MJ's passing though in next week's new episode. Carboy, you're lucky your DVR skipped Friday nights episode. My DVR has been recording every Soup episode this weekend, so I've been deleting Web Soups due to my DVR not being smart. |

Now that MJ is dead the truth is going to come out about all the kids he molested. It's only a matter of time.

Add me to the sick of seeing the Michael Jackson tributes/love/reporting everywhere. It's disgusting and I don't give a damn about him. Much better
human beings than him die every day and nobody bats an eye, why does this freak pedo's death have to interfere with my regularly scheduled programing?
I really missed my dose of Joel this week. The Web Soup was a really watered down substitute. I agree with whoever said it is like watching America's Funniest Videos. I won't be tuning into G4 just to watch this. |

And I was pretty saddened by MJ dying. I'm old and he was a pretty big deal, and mortality and all that... But WTF? I went on vacay last week. I needed my reruns of IACGMOOH on MTV this weekend. Fuckers. I mean I am sad he is gone but now I can't catch up on anything I missed during the week? Plus I am tired of all the saddy mcsadderson shit ON EVERY FUCKING CHANNEL! I actually watched Princess Protection Program on Disney to escape from it. /hangs head in shame. |
