So glad to see her on tv more lately....both of her recent comedy routines were hilarious. And even better due to her reality tv fan status and knowing that clay fans are called Claymates....hahahah.

The weird thing is she described that Gayken concert in explicit detail, so she isn't just making this up. (I was forced to go with a friend; I will say no more.)
Isn't anyone else watching? It's weird with Kathy cos she seems like a friend and I feel like I personally know her already. |

Saw "The View". Hilarious, although I can't stand Elizabeth Hasslebeck or Star Jones (who looked pained to pretend she liked Kathy).
Just saw the stand up special and that was fucking hilarious! The stuff about Oprah & Ryan Seacrest & Clay was awesome. Gonna watch the reality show next. I love my Kathy!! |

I taped it. I'm going to watch both shows as soon as my hamsters go to bed!
I can't wait. Just watched them. The comedy special was AWESOME and the show was interesting. Although I always thought she was way worse off than that. I'd KILL to be on the D-List. |

Quote: I want Kathy to be my best friend. I'm not gay, nor am I a man, but I'm totally down with her. The special was HILARIOUS and the show was great--I'm hooked. |

I'd completely forgotten that Ryan Seacrest pulled that stunt on Kathy at the awards ceremony! What a fucking asshole. I loved her comeback, though: "You have to excuse my friend Ryan, that's the first time he's ever touched a woman." HA! I don't really watch American Idol, so I never paid much attention to stories about Seacrest being a huge dickhead, but this really cements it.

You gotta love someone who tells it like it is.
I didn't see Streisand on Oprah. But, you can just see both of them as Kathy tells the story. Has the Oprah yell down. At first I thought she was talking about when Streisand was on Rosie. Some thing with the sitting on the right for her "good side." |

I heard it was Brian Dunkleman that pulled the stunt but it was Ryan Seacrest...
I saw the Oprah vs Streisand and yes Kathy is correct. haha, esp the part about the painting her mike white. Oprah actually did a follow up and they confirmed it. |

At the AMAs, they were presenting the award for most popular artist that fans voted for on the internet. Kathy made a joke about people on the internet wanting to see her boobs and Ryan ripped her top open, exposing her bra. As she covered herself up, Kathy said "I'm sorry, that's the first time my friend Ryan has ever touched a woman."

^^ Kathy was caught so off guard, she nearly burst into tears right there on stage. People noticed her reaction, which is why Nelly and his crew asked if she was okay. And Seacrest did this to her even AFTER Kathy assured him she wasn't going to make fun of him on stage. She even showed him the jokes ahead of time. He's such a dickhead.
I loved when she talked about Sharon Osbourne's reaction: "I would have kicked him in the balls!" |

Great show! Funny, funny, funny! Now that I know how much that Ryan stint bothered Kathy at the AMAs, hearing it straight from her, I now HATE Ryan Seacrest. Nelly and the St. Lunatics are cool. They had her back. I feel like Kathy's my friend too. She's so easy going, I just love it. Her parents are da bomb too! Can't wait till next week's episode.

Re: ! | ||

My favorite parts were her lack of recognition at the stuffy white gala event, where she pretended to be the greeter and no one was any the wiser, and when her Warren Beatty pictures turned out unrecognizable.
Additionally, when the actress from the OC was unwilling to part with no more than her PUBLICIST's phone number, like Kathy is hitting her up to buy wrapping paper for her 3rd grader's fundraiser or something. Poor Kathy. Then again it's hard to feel toooo sorry for her, what with that gorgeous house. Her husband cheating to get gastric bypass was pretty uncool, though. I hope he can lose the weight but faking the weigh-in is stupid and dangerous. I hope we get to hear the joke about the Amazing Race next week. |

After all the momentum, I had to see if she was coming to my town so I could see her quickly.
She is coming. She's doing a fundraiser event.....at $175 a pop. I'd consider going if it was an evening of stand-up, but they're probably going to give her 15 minutes (if that) b/c it's a crowd similar to last night's bad gala crowd with a few more gays sprinkled in. |

I know for a fact that it's fully deductable for me. I just don't know if it's worth it to suffer thru the rest of the evening for one short performance (the thing starts at 6, it's 4 hours long and they have her scheduled for 9:30.)
Of course, I could always go and see if she'd be willing to befriend me all night so that we could make fun of people together...... |
