I despised DH on principle before it aired when I found out they canned Sheryl Lee.

I remember the RS cover! That skinny wench was in the middle (LFB) and they were all sort of derssed the same and standing erotically close to one another
Even though the last things I need to incorporate into my weekly schedule is more TV-watching, I second SI's idea of us rewatching each episode and reconvening to discuss. Sort of like a book club without the books. Since this technology wasn't mainstream back in the early 90s, TP really missed out on the Sucks treatment it truly deserves. |

Quote: Well, we know good Cooper is either in the lodge for 25 years or returns to the lodge in 25 years. So we know his battle with Bob is a long one, but we can assume he is eventually victorious. In the FWWM script, Annie comes out of the black lodge and is taken to the hospital. She is wearing THE RING. A greedy nurse steals the ring from her finger and puts it on making her the next victim and inadvertently saving Annie's life. There's been many more theories over the years. I've been out of the TP for so long, I can't remember them all. |

Quote: Well, it is Monday. So we can go ahead and all watch the first episode between now and next Sunday @ Midnight. If you all want to watch ahead, of course do. But we can limit the "TP Club" discussion to one episode a week. If we determine we don't need a whole week, or want to do 2 or three episodes a week - that would be cool. And since we all know how it ends, discussion of other episodes and future plot lines will not be a problem. I'd even offer up an entire forum at the board TMOMNBLIMP if everyone was interested and comfortable posting there. Or we can do it here. Either way, I think it would be fun. |

Quote: Thats the real tragedy, the show was literally ahead of it's time. A large, organized, online fanbase could have saved the second season from the ABC reacharounds, and god knows how many more seasons there could have been, or how much more impact it could have had on the state of TV. but hey at least josh whedon wound up with that kind of power instead... I've only got it on videotape - I'll have to dig my VCR out and hook it up again! But I loved TP. How I've missed Albert Rosenfeld!
I don't have the pilot episode, though. |

Hi people,
I just want to be included in the TP love. This was my favorite show of all time until Lost came along. I loved the weirdness and the wild humor, like the dad jumping on the casket as it lowered and raised in the ground. Unfortunately I don't have any of it on tape of DVD. br |

I'm a huge fan. And for you soundtrack lovers, this is a good one. I don't have the series on DVD or I would join in. I'll read along though.

The soundtracks are amazing. I think I actually prefer FWWM but the series is also beautiful.

Can you guys please stop typing the word Annie.
I still can't even look at Heather Graham without thinking of her ruining my favorite show of all time -and Billy Zane also. Little tidbit, it was Mr. Kyle would pulled the plug of the Cooper/Audrey plot -what was he thinking??? The best chemistry ever on tv. God, I love this show -I was obsessed! First season and a half is perfection. But once those saddles shoes left and Audrey stopped dreaming of Special Agent talking her away to "world of international intrigue" it made me furious. Yes, Audrey was slated to survive -but good lord, Annie? ugh. Notice all the earlier references to it being Audrey stuck in the Black Lodge. Her dancing, the red drapes she's surrounded in at One Eyed Jacks, Cooper introducing Carolyn while talking to Audrey and then his reinforcing it to Harry after he saves her from One Eyed Jacks (a fantastic homage to my favorite film Notorious) ugh, I'm getting angry right now thinking of how this thing got off track. |

I just remembered that Audrey's "audition" for One Eyed Jacks had me practicing with cherry stems for a week straight. My mother was appalled; I was only trying to innocently emulate my idol
