Isn't the idea behind it that she's hired as a cockblock the new owner or manager of the company, who sleeps with all of his assistants? I really like the actress who plays Betty - she is definitely not ugly and maybe this will launch her into some more movie roles.

They've advertised the SHIT out of this show on CityTV (This and Entourage)
I had enough of the commercials that ran all the way back since July... With that said, all the publicity worked cuz I'm gonna be tuning in tonight :P |

OMG! LOVED it! The concept is similiar to Devil Wears Prada...loved that they played "Suddenly I See" at the end of the episode (song that opened "Devil Wears Prada"). Betty is so loveable.

This show is hillarious...I love the dad coming in and saying "sorry to interrupt your dictation".... Vanessa William's assistant reminds me of a reject from Cirque duSoliel and the nephew as a GIT.. dear god hillarious. Even loved the cameo by Salma... very witty tongue in cheek..this show has great potential. |

Just got through watching it on Tivo, I was a little skeptical for the first few minutes but it picked up really nicely. I really like America Ferrera! It's not often that I actually care for a character after the first episode.
Edit: Now after checking IMDB I know where I've seen American before, from the Disney movie Gotta Kick It Up (yes, it's sad that I remembered her from it). |
