Rebecca looks like Opie with a wig. Watch her make top three. Tara is my favourite. Once again, Jay was the prettiest one in the room.

Rebecca is fuglier than expected, I'm a bit disappointed. Awful teeth, and they're cutting her hair into some Louise Brooks type thing, which I don't think is going to work.
My other pre-show pics Tara, Jacqueline, and Mo are shaping up nicely. All in all not a bad bunch, but there are a coupla WTF ones given some of the girls that were cut, like that one from Calgary that was cute. Steff and Tia can both go ASAP plz. I only saw one episode last season, but this actually looks to have decent production values. And totally agree, Jay was sounding a bit tooooo much like Tyra for my liking. Stacy is fucking hysterical. |

My opinions on the contestants (cause I'm that awesome)
Cori: I actually didn't like her picture that much. Something about her pose bugged me. I like her personality, but she doesn't scream "model" to me. Gina: AWFUL picture. Possibly worse than Steff's - her chin put Jaslene to shame. She's naturally pretty though, so I hope she can get her shit together. Jacqueline: Love her. And love that Jay told her to get toned without losing weight. The Nicole Kidman thing was freaky, especially since her picture on the website reminds me of another celeb (though I can't place who). Mika: I actually don't think she deserved to go. Her picture was a little pornish, but there were worse and she had potential. Mo: Uh...that smile was almost offensive. But she'll still around for a while because of her skin colour. Rebecca: I'm sorry, but this girl is fug. fugfugfug Sinead: I see her as being an under-the-radar, goes at that point where the awful picture-takers are gone and only the personalities and fantastic picture-takers are left. Steff: Her personality saved her, no doubt. I'm offended by the idea that there were worse pictures than that. Tara: LOVE her. Easily my favourite. She looks hot in the makeover too. Tia: She wasn't good tonight, but I think she has potential. She's got a uniquely non-unique look. |

The episode was soooooooo jampacked that I fail to remember half the girls. There's the girl who did "volunteer modelling", Mo "the only black chick", Mika the antisocial biatch, Rebecca the FUGLIEST GIRL EVER, and then there's the one with "no neck".
I hope next week gives us more confessionals and the like. Also, that one photoshoot blows every ANTM shoot for the past 2 cycles out of the water. It's so simple and not a circus. <3 |

I LOVE Stacy too...great scene with her at the beginning when that girl whips her jacket off and her implants "pop-out". Great.
Much higher production values. I saw where I lived at the beginning! Woo! And Club Schmooze...no better place on Friday nights for cheap ass drinks and drunk boys in suits! |

Yeah, didn't watch it last year, however I did watch a post-victory interview of her that someone had posted, and her attitude was just repugnant. So that's not too shocking, I guess. Did she get any work after the show?

yeah this cycle seems way better in the production area, and I like the simple shoots, not the OTT like ANTM

Andrea fulfilled her contractual obligations w/ P&G and then quit modeling to become a dental hygienist. What a loser! I'm glad they replaced most of last year's judging panel and they should've given Jeanne Beker the boot, as well. They all deserve to be fired based on that feck up. Those judges have zero credibility in scouting model talent. Yes, I am still bitter that Sisi wuzrobbed. lol

This cycle completely blows Cycle 1 out of the water. If you remember, not one girl last season produced a decent picture in the first episode. Even Sisi, the strongest model last season, her Yoko Onno pic sucked. This year, however, I was blown away by their pics, particularly Cori. Yay for higher production values.
Mo should have gone home, and not Mika (cue Omarosa picture), but I knew she was not going home because she was hardly featured. But I was surprised that they kept Steff in. Her picture was hideous of the bunch, but I'm glad she's still in. For some reason, I like her look and she reminds me of someone. I like the photoshoot. Very simple yet elegant and not over the top. Great premiere episode. Jay was tolerable and yes, he sounded eerily like Tyra. Next week: Makeovers! And looks like they're going to incorporate seafood? |

I caught a bit of tonights episode because I agreed with my roomie that if I could watch the hockey game, she could watch CNTM.
After drowning my sorrow in sushi, I saw the end bit with the judges (Jay WAS the prettiest in the room! And both me and my roomie agreed he does Tyra BETTER than Tyra! Love Jay!). One of the chicks looked like a dude and one was just so ugmo I felt nauseous.Could someone post their pics so we can have an in house comparison? <slacker>I'm just so not motivated to do it myself, but it would be kinda nice...</slacker> |
