I saw the first 4 episodes and loved it. My Boys follows PJ (Jordana Spiro), a twenty-something professional sportswriter who is looking for love within her world which is dominated by her group of male friends. Her tomboyish, no-nonsense approach to relationships tends to freak out potential suitors which leads her only female friend to advise her to dress and act more feminine. Co-starring Jim Gaffigan ( That 70s Show , Ed ), Jamie Kaler ( The Family Stone ), Michael Bunin ( Scrubs ), Reid Scott ( American Dreams ), Kyle Howard ( Related , Orange County ) and Kellee Stewart ( Guess Who? ). It is on TBS Tuesday at 10.

I dig PJ but not sure about any of the guys yet. They seem a little phony. A lot of the conversation feels forced to me so far too. Since absolutely nothing else is on in their timeslot i'll keep checking it out if i'm home.

It probably helps that I live in Chicago and they are constantly dropping references to real places in and around the city. But I think I would like it anyway because PJ is so relatable and charming. I don't really dig Bobby or think he's all that cute, and I'd actually like to see her end up with Brendan, the DJ who is living with her. They seem to have more chemistry. What a fun show for the holiday TV slump!

Posts: 65 (12/10/06 12:52 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	It's a cute show! It's not really SATC-ish, like everyone compares it to...but it's cute, witty and enjoyable. I have to admit, I enjoyed the first two episodes more than the last two... but I'll keep watching to see what PJ's up to!

Remove this ad I work in the TV industry and we checked out this show last week and the whole office hated it. The main girl seems nice enough, but her voice is very blah and 2-3 of her guy friends are completely indistinct and blend in with one another. I don't know if any of us laughed once and the plotting was completely unoriginal (wow, she goes to set up a guy with her best friend, but the guy likes her instead? no way!). The guy who plays her friend/roommate and the one who plays bobby are both very likable though and elevate the show a bit. Anyway, I'm just surprised at the positive feedback because we really didn't like it. But I guess we all have the right to taste and opinion, so good for the show.

Can't decide if it is cute or a train wreck. It could find a good stride. Don't like the lead actress, but I like most of the friends.

Hope she dumps Hank soon, although I imagine that's not far off. I <3 Bobby! Ever since he was Grover in House Arrest I've had a wee crush on him. Hey, he's only a year younger than me! :)

I've become a fan of this show and didn't see it because my cable provider is "experiencing technical difficulties" with a bunch of stations, including TBS. I know the two from last night replay tonight at 11 but TBS has been out since Sunday and I'm doubting it'll be back on tonight. Thanks!
