Horatio makes the show! The awkward........... long......... pauses....... between...... revelations..... ("It's a........ crime scene.") and the heroic sunglasses and "hands-on-hips". Talk about overacting!

Yeah, the scene where Calleigh was swabbing Walter/William's blood from Horatio's hands was the funniest part of the show. H was overly serious about the whole thing. Talk about overacting, but hey, that's our Horatio!

Each "boss" of CSI have their own distinct personalities.

Grissom - He is very knowledgeable when it comes to forensic science. He's somewhat of a loner but gets along with everybody. He has an odd sense of humor. He doesn't get emotionally invested in the cases he works on. He is capable of separating his personal feelings from the cases. He just presents the facts and leaves the rest of the matter to the courts. However, he isn't a trained cop unlike the other two CSI heads.

Mac - I find him the most "real" out of the three. He has the forensic science knowledge and cop insincts balanced out. However, there were some instances when he didn't get along with his team members.

Horatio - You can tell he cares deeply about the victims particularly children. He's too involved in the cases. He takes the job very, very, seriously, and ensures that the criminal is locked away and justice is served. What the other two CSI heads lack, is his sense of commitment to the local community. He seems to have a lot of connections outside, and because of this, he is also the most troubled and vulnerable out of the three. His personal and professional life at times clash.
