Yuppers. They kind of do it Rocky Horror style. We get cheezy props, like a little finger puppet for Grrr Arghh, champagne poppers for Willow & Tara's
*ahem* culmination, vampire fangs, etc... It's a lot of fun. There is a website out there with a newsletter that keeps us up to date on the events,
they're pretty rare these days, so it's good to have a line in to them.

aw that's awesome! cool that Tara Benson actually shows up to them (tho sad for what it says about her career state).
I'd love to go. I sing the songs to myself from time to time. |

This was actually Amber's first sing-a-long, which was kind of neat. She wrote a book called Death's Daughter, and she had a signing in Houston earlier
in the day, so my guess is that it was kind of a tie in to that. I bought it of course, and she signed it for me. First real autograph I've ever gotten (I
don't think Cinderalla at Disney counts). I'm not sure who else has been to one though. It was a 7 hour drive for us this time, which I think is about
my limit in terms of following the show around. :) I'll try to remember to post here if they give us notice of another one. In the meantime, you can always
do it in your living room! :D

For Cordelia fans, again it's gossip to the rescue (take with the usual grain of salt) - supposedly Charisma very briefly had a minor drinking problem;
apparently her marriage at the time wasn't going well. Anyway, Joss, who was fairly blamed for not doing much when the actor who played Doyle was drinking
himself into the ground (that whole "we always planned to kill off one of the main characters early in the series" stuff is total bunk), way
overreacts because he doesn't want to be the bad guy again. Lots of angry accusations and recriminations. A failed, way-over-the-top
"intervention." Bizarre revenge through creepy character arc (which apparently was originally written to be a LOT more graphic and incestuous, and
Whedon was forced against his will to tone it down).
All leading to one of the best episodes Whedon's ever written, "You're Welcome," which sends Cordelia off the show in the most perfect manner possible. From what I've heard from friends in the biz, this is sort of Whedon's thing - his writing matches exactly whatever his emotional state is. If he likes you, or wants you to like him, the characterization will be incredible. If he's pissed at you, suddenly your character had problems. If he hates you, your character is going to be involved in something gross and involving lots of prosthetics and goo. Apparently he doesn't fire; he just fucks with people. |

oo that info about Charisma/Cordelia is interesting; always wondered what the heck happened there.
They totally changed Cordelia in S4, but I guess the same can be said about Buffy/Willow/Xander in S7 but at least they a) got to live b) were somewhat redeemed. Cordy just |

Did they ever mention in the comic that Angel told B/W/X that Cordy was dead? Cuz, you'd think, that would be something that should have happened.

I never really watched "Angel" so I'm watching it now. Season 1. I miss Cordelia.
Angel: It's a burrower. Cordelia: It's a donkey? We didn't see any donkey demons! Angel: BurroWER. Lol

So I've been watching Buffy recently and never watched season 7 and towards the end of the season, I can say I absolutely hate hate hate every character on
there now except Buffy and Spike. Willow, Xander, that Principal, Faith, Giles, Anya, Kennedy, they were all so mean and vile and rude and I cant stand them at
all!! but I still have 2 more episodes to go, so maybe I will change my mind. I used to love Anya.

aww someone just watched the ep where Buffy is kicked out of her own house?/ That ep is such bs!
I have hated Xander since season 3 and that never changed. Willow I hated because I hated the new bitch she was doing. um either Tara or Oz...no one new! K? K! Robin Wood <3, I felt sorry for him and he was likeable enough Faith <3333333333333333 imo, she did nothing wrong after she came back Giles, mild hate! Anya, I could never hate her and I liked her relationship with Buffy so yes <3 Kennedy! SO MUCH HATE! THAT WAS THE BITCH I WAS THINKING ABOUT! Weird how the vilest and most evil character remained unlisted aka DAWN SUMMERS. Least favo character ever! Amanda <333 |

I'm so glad to hear they are still doing the sing alongs. I went to one a few years back and planned to go to another one, but the guy who organized them
was being told to stop by Sony. It was really fun and the organizer did a really good job adding his own touches. One small thing I remember is when the
people are singing about getting the mustard out, he came leaping down the aisle with dry cleaning. Super cute and great for any fan.

It's like a much darker moodier Buffy. Haha.
I just finished reading the first volume (first 5?) of the BTVS Comics and I really enjoyed it. I'm not a comic book guy so I thought I wouldn't but it was really funny and cool. |

Angel is very uneven. The first seasons and the last season are very good. The middle ones aren't as good.

The last season is excellent but it's almost a different show from the first seasons, completely different cast, different premise, everything.
The last season has the awesome puppet Angel episode and the first season has that great episode with Pregnant Cordilia. |

I liked Angel a lot more once I saw it on DVD. The five seasons are kind of a U or V shape -- starts out good, gets kinda boring (esp S3), but recovers and
gets better. S5 was epic. I thought the WWII episode was fascinating, and the epi where Spike and Angel look for Buffy (and find Andrew) was classic.
