Seriously great TV. The barfing and the IVs had me gasping with incredulity. Awesome.
Nicole (lead doll) seemed very dim, though, just from her judging comments. Noticed it was a Ken Mok production. No wonder I liked it so much, being a huge ANTM fan. |

I ended up watching this and damn was it entertaining. Lots of hot girls but the barfing part? Yuck.
I like Anastacia, the 2 Melissa's and Brittany the most. Don't give a rat's ass about the others. Sisely may be able to sing and dance or whatever but girl has ZERO sex appeal. Ugh..I'm a straight guy and I love me some girls but I can't even imagine myself doing anything by holding hands w/ Sisely and then running for the Purell. She's nasty. |

I couldn't tell you the name of a single Doll besides Nicole right now. And I only know her name because of this show. They could replace every one of the present Dolls with these new girls and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Put Melissa R in Nicole's place and I bet hardly anybody else would be able to tell either.

I actually thought that ALL of these girls were better singers than Antonella on Idol, and most of them are hotter than her, too. I wonder how many of them auditioned for idol (either this season or past seasons) and were turned down. That's why I get pissed off when Idol gives us fugly bitches who can't even sing (e.g. Gina Glockson). Good-looking, talented ones are out there! You just have to pick them!!!
BTW, I think this show is a million times better produced than ANTM. I was shocked that they are from the same guy! |

There is also the lounge in Las Vegas where the Pussycat Dolls originally started. I know they have a dance troupe there that does nightly shows.
They could probably do more seasons and just make the winners apart of the Las Vegas show. |

This is on my TV right now because, sadly, it's the best thing that's on.
This could be the auditions for another pre-fab group, The Spice Girls, who weren't cast for singing talent either. And they just had to cast a *fabulous* choreographer and flash "I Don't Need A Man" on the screen at the same time. |

I liked it, and most of them they kept are really talented. I can't get over that she weighed 292 lbs. Chole. Where did her hanging flesh go, and how did she lose all that. I hope they tell that. She's adorable now with a cute singing voice. And seeing them throw up, ick. And seeing them on IV's! Are they proud of that, making people do an audition by having an IV first.

I normally loathe this genre of RTV, but the more I think about this show, the more I like it.

Chelsea, (I forgot her name, and I haven't been to the web site for it yet) the one with the hair down to her waist that had the IV before singing. I recorded it, and I swear she says 292, and the picture they show she was huge, it was hard to believe it's the same person. 192 would be better, but the picture it sure looks like someone way over 200 lbs.

It was Chelsea. She said she used to be the big one during high school, and that her highest weight she ever got to was 192lbs.

This show exceeded my expectations. It's ANTM-esque but with performances. The whole sickness/barfing/IV thing was absolutely great TV.
They're both good, but I prefer Melissa R. over Asia. Though I'm doubting Melissa's chances being similar to Nicole and all. Asia doesn't have the greatest face, and it's not just her teeth. I liked Anastacia too, but she does seem too tall and stands out too much. And I agree that Sisely is talented and would add a unique edge, but she's not sexy enough. Looking forward to Lil' Kim as a judge. |

I missed ANTM this week on the TiVo, so I made up for it with the PCDs.
On the down side: Too much PCD footage before and after commercials - Hell, the whole show is just one big commercial anyhow, so stop shoving these old broads down our throats and let's see the new nasty girls. I'm also surprised by what I perceive to be the amount of implants on girls under 20 years old. Asia has a face that looks like it has been taken half off with an orbital sander. If this were filmed in Australia, like their version of Top Model, we'd have a tits and ass extraveganza! On the plus side: The girls are better looking than anything on ANTM and fairly talented as well - I wore out my "hard drive" with all the rewinds and freeze framing I did. There is lots of opportunity for humiliation and bringing down these twits will be a pleasure to watch. On the plusest side: If I watch this show, download it and buy all the PCD merchandise I can get my hands on during the run, maybe, just maybe, CW will cancel that crapfest known as Veronica Mars! Booyah! |
