Michael C. Hall was my favourite on Six Feet Under and they had a very strong cast (although I did find Rachel Griffiths very tiring after awhile).

I'm looking forward to a Canadian network picking this up (I don't get the Movie Network).

A friend turned me onto this this week. Showtime is replaying all episodes tonight starting at 7pm (cst). I can't wait to watch from the beginning.

So was it the ice truck killer in the trunk?

The previews answered that question. So how did the Ice truck killer get the bodies. Or did he? I mean how do the cops know about the cuts on the faces. What the heck is going on?

What a great episode. Dexter developing feelings...very interesting.
I can't wait to see what happens next week...that eye in the trunk freaked me the hell out. Glad to see that he killed both those idiots--and seemed to do it on a whim. |

This show is fantastically brilliant. My only problem is with the way the sister talks like a special needs student and the "sexual tension" between Dexter and LaGuerta.

The eye in the trunk was a great touch.
It'll be interesting to see what Dexter does to keep his sister at bay. |

I hope he offs her.
Bitch is annoying. |

The sister could very well be the most annoying character on television.

Dexter's 2 for 1 kill in this weeks episode was BRILLIANT!
If you aren't watching Dexter you are definitely missing out... and if you still don't know how to download episodes online this is your reason to learn... Who knew a serial killer could be so cool? (Patrick Bateman aside, of course) |

Great news for us Dexter fans!
www.zap2it.com/tv/news/za...-headlines Showtime Gives 'Dexter' Another Stab Production will begin next spring November 3, 2006 Showtime has picked up a second season of the dark serial killer dramedy "Dexter." Production on the 12-episode second run will begin next spring for a 2007 premiere. "Dexter is a home run for us, both critically and in popularity," raves Showtime Entertainment President Robert Greenblatt. "The show was launched at the height of all the broadcast networks' fall premieres yet instantly became our #1 rated show. People seem fascinated by the moral ambiguity of Dexter, as played by the gifted Michael C. Hall. This character and the world of this show are a welcome addition to our 'premium' line-up." Hall plays Dexter Morgan, a Miami PD forensics expert and part-time serial killer prone to killing some of the city's worst criminals. The show's first season has followed the plot of Jeff Lindsay's novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" and co-stars Jennifer Carpenter, Julie Benz and James Remar, among others. Because Showtime keeps its viewership figures close to the vest, it's hard to know how many people are watching "Dexter," but the Oct. 1 premiere drew 600,000-plus viewers, making it the channel's second most watched one-hour drama premiere behind "The L Word." Meanwhile, despite teasing "Weeds" finale viewers with the promise of a third season, Showtime is still reportedly finalizing a formal deal, though an announcement is expected soon. |

With the little snippet clue we got concerning the hospital, I think the ice killer has to be a doctor from Dexters past.
And yes, that eye in the trunk freaked me out! How can he just follow Dexter around so easily? Dexter is so careful about everything. Hopefully, the killer will get his sister, and not the girlfriend. |

I just realized the sister is "Emily Rose" of exorcism fame. She's irritating, but I kind of like the whole, she's looking for a killer, who happens to be her brother arc.

Really pleased to hear that there will be a second season, some of the best tv I've seen in a while. I have especially enjoyed the way the book(s) has/have been adapted. It will be interesting to see how the ice truck killer retrieves the body (to me it sounded like they just found the wife...I could be wrong).

Thank ya JESUS! (Literally!)
I was on pins and needles! How narrow was THAT? The sister got on my nerves even more than usual--except when she was at whatshisname's house with his mom and sisters. I liked her there. |

I like the character of the sister (and the actress who plays her) but she was a petulant child in this episode. So Dexter didn't like your report - that's reason for you to sulk for days?
Especially after her theory was "proven" wrong - you'd think she'd drop the grudge. |

Best show yet. Pins and needles the whole time.
ETA - I almost forgot! My favorite line all night: Her husband's a crackhead and her boyfriend's a serial killer. Kinda hard not to take that personally. |

I liked when the one cop told him that he would personally like to shake the hand of the guy that killed the smuggler woman. Then Dexter's thought: "You say that now..." LOL!

Best show so far, I can't believe he used the name Patrick Bateman for his alias. AWESOME American Psycho reference!!
I love this show. |
