Makes sense. Also, in the previews, I really don't think Dexter tied to the table is part of a dream. He is wearing a blue/white small checkered shirt when he is tied to the table in some kind of warehouse and then there are several quick glimpses of scenes with Dex in the same shirt figthing with someone in the warehouse and a scene with Deb & Quinn pulling up to a warehouse with their guns drawn. I think The Skinner does somehow abduct Dexter in the next episode, but Dex is able to break free from that tattered rope used to tie him down and is fighting with The Skinner when Deb/Quinn & Miami PD get there to "rescue" Dex. I am more interested in what's going to happen with Ramon, though. I wonder how much Miguel told Ramon about what was going on between him and Dexter and their "avenging" activities. And I hope we find out if the other brother was really doing Miguel's dirty work and sent to take care of Freebo per Miguel's orders when Dexter happened upon him. They better wrap up that storyline, so we all know. Is it Sunday yet????

He did do a DNA test in the first season and found out who his father was. I think Harry said something about knowing Dexter's brother was already "gone" to the dark side so to speak, and that maybe Dexter could be saved

I forgot that episode where Dexter got his Dad's house and there was a couple's weekend with Dex, Deb, Rita, and Dex's brother/Ice Truck Killer. I need to watch Season 1 again.

Why take one young boy and leave the other? And yeah: this makes Deb a controlled sociopath's half sister. Strange how Harry's decision affected Dex and his brother. I felt sorry for the brother because in a way, he was abandoned twice and went through the same shit that Dexter did. I felt so sorry for the brother that I didn't even think he should have died over Deb (that's how much I disliked Deb in the first season).

I watched the clip on the showtime site but there wasn't any of this on there it was all to do with the break-in. I tried the Orb download (twice) and it froze at the point where Dexter covers Miguel's mouth. When watching it, I just assumed that Dexter knew that LaGuerta had some meeting or plans for the night that would keep her out of her house and that he did leave that message for bait for Miguel, so that Miguel would hear the message and walk out the door right into Dexter's hypodermic. Dexter is one crafty sucker, always thinking ahead.

I loved how Masuka was glad that the girl he hooked up with had issues and therefore, was not out of his league. I kinda found the Quinn hitting on Debra thing a bit outta nowhere. I wasn't surprised it happened since I had a feeling that if Quinn stayed alive and single, they'd eventually lead it in that direction, it just arrive somewhat randomly.

Promo clips aired by Showtime ain't spoilers, but you are to be commended for your discretion. The Quinn/Deb dating scenario was always a possibility-- there was some sexual tension going on before Deb started boinking Anton, the guy who wrote "Skinny Mean Bitch" in her honor.... I distinctly recall in an early S3 ep her yelling at him to stop looking at her ass and figured, well, there's Deb's season 3 boyfriend. Ice Truck killer, Agent whathisface, now this guy. I wonder if we'll find out if Quinn is in fact a dirty cop in the finale? So many wealths of storylines going on. I love this series. Oh: I replayed the kill room sequence and it was definitely Helen Wolf's home office -- there were legal books behind the sheet plastic. That makes total sense in retrospect. I bet Dex erased the message on LaGuerta's answering machine as soon as Miguel succumbed to the needle. No need to leave traces of his serial killing behind. Still, how'd he know she wouldn't show up even for the smaller window of him laying the trap? And he appears to have swiped the Maria pic from her wall. Wouldn't she notice it missing upon her return? (Assuming that she's still alive, btw.) Somebody refresh my memory: did Ramon get affirmatively canned from the sheriff's department? Or does he still have police powers?
