Felt there were producers who wanted Amy to win...when they talked her out of leaving. The fix was in at that time..and Rory and Jag were toast!!!!

See that actually made me think "HMMMM, maybe the viewers should choose EVERY boot, not just the last one." The person the viewers PREFERRED wouldn't have even been an option had Jag not been found out.

I still don't get the folks who love JAG. I mean, to each his own and all...but he's so damned annoying with his lisp and the way he squints his eyes when he talks. Oh, and his manic-depressive personality. To me, he's just as annoying as Amy and Gummy McGummerson.
The best part of this season was watching Paul and Jag feeling each other up and declaring their love for each other on the final episode. This sure was a touchy-feely bunch, that's for sure. |

I like Jag for the same reason I liked all the other botched creations that turned into Frankenstein's monsters IE Rupert, Rob Mariano etc.

I think the food network themselves picked the winner. If anyone who voted for rory noticed, the website to vote for her for a while was not working. When you went to click on her to vote, it just brought you back to her Bio and would not let you vote. Or sometimes it did not show the pictures to vote. It was just 2 blank boxes with things to click vote. No pictures. Same with the text messaging. It said type Rory to whatever number. When you did that it came back with an error but for some odd reason, it did not do that for Amy. Seems a bit fixed to me. Weren't the other seasons critisized for possible fixing?

All Amy had to do was get the 11,000 members of her family (who apparently all live in the commune with her) to vote for her to win.
Rory's "small town in Texas" didn't even have Food Network, so I doubt that they were voting online. |

Yea but Rory grew up in NJ and lived there most of her life. She had a very well known restaurant. So, its not like she has lived there all her life and has only known that small town of people. It just seems fishy...

Jag would have never won. That's why the producers wanted a Jag v. Rory finale, to ensure Rory's win. Makes Amy's win feel all the better for me.

There seem to be a lot of "glitches" in the voting system but there didnt seem to be any mention of it. I know American Idol one year had some issues with the voting and they clearly recognized it and acknowledged it. I really just don't think the voting here mattered at all.
I pretty much lost respect for that show and possibly the network. This show was just a mess. Get it down to 2, kick one off- oops i mean one "resigns"- then bring a loser back to have her win. Not cool. I would be so upset if I were Rory. I cannot imagine watching a show with Amy. I don't think that it will last long anyway. Did anyone catch the View today. Somone told me that Amy was on today. |
