I finally got around to watching this last night, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Jensen sure seems happy to be away from Smallville and Lana, not that I can blame him. Not a Gilmore Girls fan, so I didn't know who the other guy was, but he's okay so far to me. I hope they keep the relationship primarily with the brothers and don't try to bring in some new female lead to add "tension".

I saw it. I thought it was okay, although my friend thinks the show is boring. I'll watch it again.

I finally watched my tape and I love it. I disagree that killing the gf was a copout - they had to get the brothers back on the hunt and it tied in nicely with the beginning.
That beginning scene scared the crap out of me. I was expecting something to happen to the dad based on the TiVo info, not the mom. The first farmhouse scene was ubercreepy as well. The older brother is annoying, but this has a nice X-Files "monster episode" feel to it - and the guys are totally hot. It's earned a place on my season pass list for now. |

I actually like this show! They are doing replays on Sundays at 5 eastern. Since most people here are watching something else on Tuesdays, this is a nice way to keep up with the show.

This show kicks ass. The bloody mary episode was my first. That was some scary, creepy stuff. I don't believe in any of that stuff but I still won't say bloody mary three times in front of the mirror. It even scares me a little just to type that name on my computer. That was really creepy whenever she showed up. This show is a lot better than the Threshold, Invasion, and Surface. You get a new story every episode instead of one lame story that draaaagggss out for a whole season.

I've been tivoing this and finally caught up with all the epi's over the weekend. Honestly i think it's pretty cheesy, and some of the lines the actors spew have me doing spit-takes. Like when the Handsome Brother #1 says to Handsome Brother #2:"A wendigo, are you serious? They're found in northern Minnesota, not around here" like they're talking about some bird species and not a monster of Native American legend. And how they lie their way into all the situations but somehow immediately gain the trust of the people/victims involved, rather than becoming the target of suspicion themselves.
All that said, I still continue to watch, and manage to get genuinely scared by some of the scenes (Bloody mary being the absolute WORST - even if she looked like Samara from The Ring moveis.) The subject matter always interests me and I'm a sucker for ghost stories and legends. And I was afraid to so much as walk past a mirror for the rest of the night after that one episode. |

Tonight's episode was the messiest hour of television I have ever seen. There seemed like there were major scenes missing. Logic was also absent from the plot which had holes big enough to drive Star Jones through.
I usually enjoy this show for what it is. Mindless, silly fun. But tonight was just plain awful. |

I just watched it for the first time this evening. So the premise of the show involve two brothers sent on a wild ghost chases by their fathers cell phone messages? The WB gloss doesnt really make this show any scarier, does it?

Eh, it had some scary moments in the first few episodes.
But other than that it has kinda lamed out with the creepiness. I watch, mostly because Jensen Ackles is so nice to look at. And I want to know if the little brother really does hate the older brother. |

Not always sent by their dad Gregorie. They'll look for clues as to where he might be in his diary which is chock-full of ghostly info. They travel along looking for dad and helping out peeps with their ghosts, demon tc problems.
We just learned last week, after they went back to their old house thanks to a vision that Sam had that their dad is in fact still in their home town. He's hiding from them for some unknown reason. Their mom's ghost also destroyed herself to save them in that ep. |

Hmm, not very interesting sounding, really, but I think Jared Padalecki is pretty cute, and i guess that's why anybody watches WB shows.
