Katie Cassidy can't return because of money issues. Apparently Demon-O, the executive cuntess over at the CW who is kinda the go between for Kripke and the set is a hassle to work with. And yeah, one of the things, in addition to this being potentially the last season is that Katie Cassidy wasn't in the budget. :-\. It's a shame. The only female character to really bring anything good to the show, IMO. And NOTE, it was because she wasn't a love interest. :) Though, I'm glad that Kripke, Sera Gamble, and Raelle Tucker have finally all admitted in interviews that they're done trying to bring in romantic playthings for the boys up, since they know how vehemently the fans react to it. :P

Not hate just...well, vile vomit inducing dislike. Is Sam boning a demon? Honestly Sam, take after Dean and at least keep with the living. It makes sense via the verse why Ruby can't be played by Katie Cassidy but I'm still gonna miss her. And you are right when you said she's the first female character to have real workable chemistry with the guys. This new one better be hardly ever around. Can't wait to see the ratings. I hope they're super high. Prove that this is the only decent show on the CW so they put more money behind it. As if Jensen needed MORE reason to be <3 but when he said: Yeah, it doesn't go to that obvious place of, "Oh, well, we have two young guys. We gotta get 'em two young, hot girls so they can have young hot sex on television!" God knows, there's not enough of that on TV, or on this network. I think he forever cemented a place in my Fav. Actors of all time place. Anyone who takes a dig at GG, or that equally VILE One Tree Hill is A-OK in my book. I would actually welcome the CW folding and Supernatural getting shipped off to another network that could take it seriously.

And I think what they're pointing to with all that "this is like nothing I've ever seen/No demon not Lillith not Ruby can't do that" chatter. I wish old Ruby was back too, but I'm not totally hating nuRuby. She looked great in the tank top and undies when Bobby & Dean first showed up at Sam's motel. It's going to fun to see Dean's reax if it turns out that they've been engaging in demonic snuggleboinkage. Too bad the cougar pychic got taken out this early. She would've been a fun recurring character. I wonder whatever happened to Memphis(?) from season 1. Loved her, too.

It seems to me that the entire show is going to be "Good vs. Evil" and with a possible ending Dean vs. Sam at the season finale?!

But the strength of their relationship at least partially stopped that. But...apparently they're going through with it after all. I hope they trek lightly though. Lord knows the fangirls (and gays) will be up in arms if we get no brotherly interaction on an episode by episode basis. The dynamic between the two of them is what makes this show so great.

The highest since it was on the WB, in season 1. The finale, Devil's Gate, got around there. Anyway though, just thought for a bit of comparison...Smallville, the #1 scripted show got 4.3 million. Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, the more heavily advertised, rating group specific shows didn't do as well, with 3.4 million and 3.1 million, respectively. How many more nights of these results do we have to have before the CW advertises the right shows and gives Supernatural the credit it deserves?

Like, they aren't picking up right where they left off and heading out onto the road. So I think this next episode is gonna be the one that kinda gets them back into normality. The plot, apparently, brings a few of the people who have died "under their watch" to brand them careless and useless. Meg makes a comeback, I hear. Anyway though, very excited. Oh, and Gordon I think?

Because they clearly were suggesting very heavily that Sam and that girl had sex. And if it was already Ruby, Sam was having sex with a demon. And that's something I don't think he'd do. But, for the record, I don't believe that. I think it was Ruby from the word go. Also -- I think they're coming back as "ghosts" or "spirits" or...something like that. Also, if you remember when Gordon had his head chopped off his body just stayed there.

After they had made sure she wouldn't change. If you'll remember, it was after Sam/Dean wait up with her all night. There was an assumption that she was no longer a werewolf. They were wrong...so in hindsight, yeah he did sleep with a werewolf, but...that's a far cry from having sex with a demon. Ruby wouldn't have possessed a willing body. So Sam wouldn't be having sex with a consensual partner. It would be tantamount to rape. Not only that, but the body could be dead. Which...ugh, would be necrophilia. So whether or not Sam is into the "kinky" stuff, sex with Ruby opens up a veritable can of worms that I really would like to avoid. Not only that but...DEMON! Hello! That's not something our Sammy would do. And this is not just because that Wildfire girl looks 1 part trashy and 2 parts stupid. I think it was the FBI guy too. Sorry. I'm not a racist...I just didn't watch the preview close enough :P. I'd much prefer him to Gordon though. My god was Gordon a self-righteous nutjob.

That boy has been finding new gray areas to cross that even Dean finds surprising (ex. blasting away his murderer; TrueRuby's behind-the-scenes existence; wanting to off the human witches). Humping a demon at this point is no longer that far fetched. I don't even recall him sharing the tidbit with Dean about having demon blood. When asked about the last moments with Lilith? Coy and vague. Having had no contact with Bobby since the ginsu hellhounds processed Dean can't be very good. Hell, it's still questionable whether he facilitated Dean's coming out party. Sammy's conflicted and messed up. Can't really blame him, but who knows what he's capable of at this point.
