Didn't anyone watch this last night? I'm coming around to the angel. Although I want to loan him my chapstick, as his lips looks like Satan's been
after them.
Those spooky little girls and Bobbie? I'd like to get a back story on them. I think that could be a great episode. Especially with the seals open. As I understand it, they can't go back, so why not explain the story. |

Wow - no scifi alternate reality show to my knowledge has grappled with the Good Book. Whatever else is going on, Meg looks MUCH better as a human! |

for some reason i always tape this show and bank up episodes so I can watch a couple in a row. i think like someone else said, I'm partly worried that i
will be let down, but the show pretty much always delivers. Have to echo on the New Ruby hate; not only is she fug but she doesn't have the same edginess
and sense of humor that made Ruby interesting in the first place.
Not sure I care for the whole theme of making a believer out of Dean, but I do like how they're handling it. I actually didn't recognize Meg at first - she looked kind of beat, and I thought the old haircut suited her better to be honest - but I like how they utilize old characters and work them into the storyline. And Jensen Ackles is so unbearably hot it's easy to not take notice of what a good actor he is. He's really good a balancing the drama with the comedy on the show. One of my favorite Sam/Dean moments was in the first episode this season, when Dean finds Sam "douched" the car up by mounting the ipod on his car dashboard.... "Really? " |

Excellent. I just finished the first season and third of this show. I actually live in the city where it's filmed...and, I have only heard of it at the
start of this season. *Sadly
Anyway, great show tonight, definitely one of the best so far! |

ohmyeffinggod i love this show. TERRIFIC episode. I LOVE how they keep adding to the backstory and tying things together. (Alhough unfortunately, this episode
had me seriously missing the late, great Journeyman.) I hope that these Dean-centric episodes don't mean we have to trade off with Sam-centric episodes
later this season, though. I couldn't care less about Sam but I would watch Jensen Ackles watch paint dry. I can't wait til the next episode. I
reiterate: whatever the writers are paid, it's not enough. they never fail to deliver as far as i'm concerned.

Wow, LOVED this episode!
Probably one of my favorites ever. Last week, the whole religious bullshit drove me so crazy I was gonna stop watching the show. But this week I decided to give it one last chance and I'm glad I did although the kiss thing at the end was just about the grossest thing ever. Yuck! They just had to go there. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK! PUKE! They always ruin perfect eps with little things. |

NotNewbie wrote: i have to admit, the religious tone of last week almost put me off also - the whole tack of making a believer out of Dean. I really wish the show wouldn't get into that, but the way they handled it wasn't all that preachy, so i let it go. i understand why it works as a plot device, but in general, i wish they wouldn't go there, because it could go horribly wrong. if they focus on the paranormal stuff it's enough for me. |

The execution in last week's ep rang hollow. I got the message, but the merry-go-round of the deceased wasn't a fun ride. Of course it needed to be
done to set up the rest of this season. Saving graces were the Bobby moments with the boys, and his bunker reveal. Meg looked like a smudged up sewer rat for
no reason. Nice that she took time out to explain her college girl appearance before she was slutted up and ridden hard. Was Dean supposed to care for the
fashion report.
That said, last night's followup more than made up for it. G'DAMN, the Supernatural creatives sure know how to throw ingenius curve balls. The previews had me grumbling about a lame Back to the Future spin device, but thankfully that didn't last long. If the angels had the power to rewind, then Lilith would have been snuffed already. And yes, Castille? is allergic to straight answers. Loved that we got wonderful twists up the wazoo about Mary and John. Props to the casting of those two actors. Perfect matches. Sure makes me wonder if hiring uggoRuby was strategic revenge. A bit disappointed with Skinner's (grampa) screen time. Had hoped for more impact, but not of the gross incestual mouthlock kind. Those Winchester guys just can't stay dead for long. Did anyone else notice the weird moments of voice distortion? Cute sound design if by choice, and not a bad satellite feed. Smite UggoRuby. Smite her now! Bitch didn't stay away like she promised. So much for fearing angels. |

Nice that she took time out to explain her college girl appearance before she was slutted up and ridden hard. Was Dean supposed to care for the fashion report. I totally agree! Obviously they were providing some exposition for people who didn't recognize the actress but it just seemed really clumsy and imo it would've been easier to just throw a wig and some tight jeans on her so they didn't have to explain all that. |

It really was an amazing episode. The lack of Sam didn't bother me at all, especially since he came off like a total dickhole in the minute he was in the
episode.
God bless that beautiful man Jensen Ackles. He seriously performed his almost best last night. Great great episode. And yay for more people posting in this thread! This show is honestly one of the most underrated on TV right now. |

OMG, that was a fantastic episode! I love that the yellow-eyed demon is still involved, even if he's dead... and that all these stories are getting tied
together in a really great and scary way. I did not miss Sam at all- or even notice his absence, frankly.... but I'm digging the good bro v. evil bro angle
that's shaping up... can't wait for next week!!

Yeah, another scene of Sam sneaking out of the room wasn't even necessary. I'm going to need more emotional interaction between the brothers soon
though. The distancing could be intentional, but if they wanted to keep up appearances with each other to quell any suspicions, wouldn't they at least seem
more chummy? Dean went to freaking HELL for months! He's suddenly back and Sam not going all out researching this is weird. They don't go Dr. Phil with
each other normally, but the season finale would have warranted more oomph than the
rather simplistic "I must have blocked it out" about hell excuse Dean used in the premiere and leaving it at that. I really want to see significant flashbacks of his time in the pit. Snarky retorts with tormentors. Not giving those demons the satisfaction of a suffering and hurt Dean. Why he was chained up with hooks. Anything! It was such a big deal last season on what it would be like and all we've gotten so far are freaky eye flashes of red and screeching? Not enough for me. Must be patient. I know it's only been three shows. That winged one's character still feels off. I don't trust him. No shit about not walking the earth for 2,000+ years but where are his coworkers now? Ruby repped the demons to yoda Sam, and S4 has the gravel voiced chapstick lacking dude giving pointers to Dean for the other side is a little trite. Sam freaked Lilith out and he's a bump on the log. Sam centric ep coming very soon indeed. Just had to get that out in the open. :) Can't wait for next week. The waiting hurts so bad. Willy2Fun needs to get a Netflix account to catch up on the previous seasons. There are free trial coupons floating around. Let Supernatural come to you. |

I really feel , having watched so many episodes now 'in a row', that it's a good match *the brothers*.

I let out a draw dropping "Oh shit! when Mary started punching and drop kicking Dean. Awesomeness. A bit Buffy, but still good. I still can't get over
how much the young versions match up to their mature counterparts. She even has the same laugh line crease. Those eyes and brows of John. All there.
Watching the brothers bond all these years will make the finale all the more heart wrenching if the Cain vs, Abel thing pans out. Sad. |
