I'd saw the pilot last fall, and saw the Bloody Mary ep from Sunday -- pretty good.
I take the boys still haven't found their daddy? Have they gotten any closer to finding whatever killed the girlfriend?

I know I can't wait till it starts back up again. I have read the spoilers for the upcoming episodes and they sound so good. Its hard waiting and it sucks that there is no repeat tonight but at least it is repeating on Sunday.

Having now seen all of the marathon week eps and tonight's repeat with the boys going back to Kansas, I REALLY like this.
Yes some of the eps are simply stupid, but when it's on, it's excellent. Is the end of tonight's ep the most current point: Missouri the psychic chatting with their daddy? |

Yeah, it looked like it. I hope Missouri comes back.. I love how she's so tough on Dean. It's hilarious When I first saw her I was like "OMG Marla Hendricks from Boston Public!"

Tuesday's episode was great, as usual.. I knew the people in that town were too good to be true. The promo for next week looks interesting but it's obvious that Dean isn't going to die. I love Sam but the show would be boring if it was just him.
Dean's probably my favourite TV character next to Veronica Mars, I love the sarcasm

Note this episode with the scary scarecrow took place in Indiana around the Salem, Indiana area.
I have been there and this explains why the people around Salem, Indiana look at outsiders like they are only good for one thing-human sacrifices. |

Whoa! They used a real small town?
I wonder what the citizens' reax are? That ep stayed with me, too. A solid return from the midwinter break. The jury's still out the slutty new blonde archnemesis, though -- a new plotline linking the eps smacks of season 2 desperation. |

Re: SUPERNATURAL | ||

No, they are just adding more to Supernatural and the mystery on what happened to the Jess and Mary. Its so the show does not become static and people complain that it is not going anywhere. Not season 2 desperation at all because it has been rumored that the WB is bringing Supernatural back for another season. Plus the creator of this show has said he has mapped out two seasons worth of stuff. As the show goes along we will find out more and more about what happened to Jess/Mary, what did it/whats after them, and whats been going on with dad.

Maybe that blonde chick has something to do with the deaths of Jess/Mary...? Sure looks like it.
BTW, Julie Benz (Darla from BtvS and Angel) will be a guest star next week |

I loved the scarecrow episode.
I wasn't sure that this show was going to entertain me as much as it has. I actually find myself looking forward to the episodes. |

Re: SUPERNATURAL | ||

Whoever wrote the scarecrow episode, got their check for free. The scarecrow image is straight out of Jeepers Creepers 2, The town that keeps a dark secret has been seen hundreds of times, and the tree of power is out of "Sleepy Hallow," we don't even see the damn scarcrow die! And then the killer hitchiking girl at the end of the episode was yet another rip off of older material.

Re: SUPERNATURAL | ||

Last night's episode was my first ever and it was pretty creepy I guess, I didn't understand the characters but that is to be expected being a newbie on a multi-series show.
The reapers were pretty scary. Leaving them with no noises or speech was cool IMO, just have them shamble around like really fast zombies until they eat your soul! (or give you a stroke) It was definately very twilight-zoneian with the whole, dramatic "when somebody is cured someone else dies" thing, who could make that decision? Not this man! Anyway I will give it another slot on my VCR i think, it is a refreshing change from procedural shows or reality TV |

Twilightzonian -- 'ZACTLY!
That ep is staying with, and I just today I figured out why: I'd kinda/sorta been unenthused about watching it, figuring it would be just another evil preacher story. But the way the guy who portrayed Roy managed to thread the needle between righteous and sinister until the reveal (which I won't spoil), which, when added to the ultimate resolution of brain tumor chick's storyline, made me realize how good the writing staff is on this show. Twilightzonian, in fact. |

Supernatural is being moved to Thursday after Smallville
_____________________________ Replacing BEAUTY AND THE GEEK on Thursdays will be SUPERNATURAL, beginning March 16 (9:00-10:00_ p.m. ET). This move should advantage the first-year hit, pairing it with the compatible and über-successful SMALLVILLE (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), which is enjoying its best season ever, both creatively and in the ratings. Also: "Supernatural" on Tuesday's will continue to air originals until February 28th with the last encore episode airing on March 28th. "Supernatural" on Thursday's will start by airing encores until March 30th then begin airing originals on April 6th). ________________________________ At least they let us know in time, and Smallville and SUpernatural should be a great pairing. |

It's hardly fair that the other networks will be airing far scarier horror programming at the same time as Supernatural tonight.

Thank God the WB didn't interrupt their programming for DubyaI liked tonight's episode. A LOT <3 It was good to see a different side of Dean. Don't get me wrong, I love the sarcastic funny Dean but tonight he had more depth to him. |
