I hate that they did the typical really fake-looking hanging from wires type of flying. It didn't look good. Otherwise, not too bad. They have to resist making it too superhero-y as the season rolls along.

I think Hiro (of course that's his name) can do more than just teleport. They're obviously not showing the full extent of his powers since he doesn't know either. But it probably has something to do with the time-space continuum that he keeps talking about. If that's the case, he could potentially be ridiculously powerful.

(I checked out the guy who plays Hiro on IMDB and he's done tons of small roles. The most interesting thing is that he's listed as a digital artist for ILM and has worked on a lot of high profile blockbusters.)

I really like Hayden Panettiere. Her character looks quite interesting. Of the course the contrast of her power versus the cheerleader image is what really sells it. She's a good actress and has a track record of good roles. (Loved her as Malcolm's evil babysitter and Ally Mcbeal's daughter.)

So is the druggie painter dead? I shame if they get rid of an interesting character that fast.

I still don't get Ali Larter's character's power. An evil version of her comes out of the mirror? Huh?

And I'll never ever see Adrian Pasdar as anyone other than an alternate version of Jim Profit in anything that he does.

I also find the links between the characters to be a bit implausibly coincidental. I would have liked them to be more complete strangers who slowly get drawn together over the run of a season than having links with each other like in Lost.
