Awww now I kinda wish they'd replay the "Golden Palace" episodes, I'd like to be able to record them. Or better yet just release it on DVD
and make it easy. I want my full fill of Sophia!

They have to include that episode where Dorothy is worried that Sophia isn't active enough. Everyday she comes home and when Dorothy asks what she did, Sophia says that she bought an orange. But then we get to follow her throughout her day, and in addition to buying an orange, she does all kinds of charity work.I think that's the best episode of a sitcom I've ever seen. I know that's a big statement, but in addition to being hilarious, it's unbelievably moving and profound. It has a beautiful message and makes you really appreciate Sophia's character. |

Thanks you two for the push. I just ordered all 7 seasons. With gift cards, it only cost me $58, so it was a good deal for me! I look forward to having these as part of my collection. |

I watched the marathon on Lifetime today. It was sad watching it.

This is hands down the best sitcom in the history of American television. It should have gone on longer.

What was chosen as the all-time favorite Sophia episode? It was the one where Blanche gave a girl scout Rose's teddy bear and Sophia made friends with a guy with Alzheimer's. I watched the marathon and ate chocolate cheesecake and cried a little bit. It was like I was eating it with old friends, especially when they were all talking about or eating cheesecake. It was the best tribute I could think of. |

"She is one crazy bitch".
Leaving aside the awesomeness that is The Golden Girls for one moment, I will always love her foul-mouthed character in that god awful movie Lake Placid. Especially when she told the sheriff "If I had a dick, this is when I'd tell you to suck it." |

I hate that Lifetime is phasing this out. It used to be on at 9:00, 4:00, and 1:00, but now it's only on at 9:00 (the one time I can't watch it of
course!)

I remember watching it at midnights during middle school. It was awesome.

I'm a night owl so I loved watching it at 1AM and falling asleep to it. For some reason, it wouldn't be the same if I popped in the DVD. It was just
comforting to know it was always on.

Now that it has moved to the Hallmark channel, there is a marathon right now until about 2 am. Enjoy!

So it's no longer going to be on Lifetime?
WTF am I going to watch before going to work? I just changed the channel to Hallmark and the show quality seems more crisp than on Lifetime. Anybod else notice this or am I drunk? |

1000Proof wrote:No, it looks decent. I don't know if I notice much of a difference. It looks like it's on a few times a day just like before when it was on Lifetime, so you won't have to go without. RR....I am thinking Bea is the next one in line. |
